Small, friendly, beautiful well appointed find. Lovely old fashioned rooms with all mod cons. The use of a smart phone is amazing. We used ours to help us get around town and find places to eat. Wonderful bathrooms. Breakfast was lovely. Champagne!!! . Wish I could have stayed longer.
We visited on our honeymoon and received a complimentary bottle of wine. It's the little things that made this hotel stand out, the free smart phone that allows you to call 35 countries for free, really came in handy for us to explore with and use its internet. Umbrellas handed out in case of rained. The technology within the room was great and the staff provided their expertise every day. It is a small 10 min walk to central station however well worth it.
I was just here for a couple of days. The hotel is nice and small. It has an old feeling to it, but all in beautiful condition. It felt kind of 1920's art deco. Though i don't know if that's the right description. My room was beautiful. Lots of inlaid wood. The bathroom was beautifully tiled. It had both a clawfoot tub and a rainhead shower. The staff is great. Very friendly and helpful. There is a good Turkish restaurant across the street. The neighborhood is quiet.
Our family of 6 (4 20 somethings) loved the charm, friendly staff, and quiet neighbourhood, which appeared to be safe. We're walkers though- and it's at least 45 mins to the old square. So tough to go pubbing and get home quickly.
The hotel rooms is quaint and exudes old charm. Location wise, it is a bit off from the Old City and you'll have to take a taxi. There are several restaurants across the hotel and the food is good. The concierge/reception was very helpful. The AC did not seem to work so well.
Great little hotel located 10 mins walking distance from the Central Station. Decor is great, both in the common areas and in the rooms - it's Art Deco style, great wooden flooring, marble bathrooms. Everything is consistent with the common style, and every detail is thought through from both visual appeal and convenience perspectives. All staff very helpful and friendly. Overall would highly recommend for a Warsaw stay.
The hotel is old fashioned in a good sense. It has beautiful retro architecture, lots of wood and a lot of charm. We loved our stay there. The neighborhood has some excellent restaurants and a very nice bakery is two blocks away (ideal for breakfast!) The only thing I did not like was how far away it was to the old part of town. We were told "40 minutes" by foot but it was more of a 1.5 hours walk and we did not walk slow. It was seriously the only thing I found disappointing, the hotel itself is a gem and also really quiet at night.
We stayed four nights in this wonderful hotel for a little less than 100 EUR per day and had a big, nicely clean and decorated room with a very comfortable double-bed, a bathroom with separate bathtub and shower and on top of this an easy-to-use instant espresso machine (refill every day). On arriving we also found a bowl of fresh fruit and bottles of water. Included in the price was also parking just behind the hotel. All of the staff did a good job. In the reception we met kind english-speaking personnel who were releaxed and took time with each guest though also being fast in expedition. Another good thing was the hotel restaurant Salto, which will receive it's own positive review. If one is into the cool Kreuzberg in Berlin, street food, kebab or vegan restaurant please visit the food market in Hala Koszyki on Koszykowa str 200 m from the hotel. Also try Nextbike rental just across the square - a splendid way to get to the center. We didn't try the room service, mini-bar, sauna or other of the services included in the price. Reason for not giving the 5th star: From our room on the top floor (6th) we heard a ventilator, like being onboard a passenger boat. Yet we slept easily, so to us it was not bothering.
Hotel not far from modern city centre. The hotel is of Art-Deco with room having tea/coffee making machines. Bed just comfortable being in twin-bedded room. Bathroom was spacious with bath & shower plus facilities. Lift at hotel most needed. Transport via trams & buses locally just few minutes to the trams. Was difficult to work out eg from hotel to the old town, once know of the routes it is easy to get around.
It's a wonderful hotel, their instruments are very high quality, and they have their own style, especially the elevator and sauna, I love this hotel, I recommend you go to live this hotel if you go to Poland. I'll go back again.
