Booked this hotel based on its high review score on booking.com. What a disappointment! The only two great things about it are its central location and a great restaurant. The building could be a magnificent stylish art deco gem, and perhaps once was, but now it's just tired and in urgent need of good scrubbing and a thorough reno. Maybe I just got a bummer room, but it was in visible disrepair and would definitely lead to depression had I stayed longer than one night. The furnishings were very worn out, scratched, chipped, upholstery stained. The shower stall with missing mosaic tiles and plain dirty, wall covered with soap scum. Disgusting for any establishment, let alone a 5* aspiring to prestigious and "preferred". Virtually no functional temperature control inside the room. No way to make the room warmer on a November night. Tried the famed SALTO restaurant under a prize winning Argentinian chef and was not let down. Great food, in house baked bread, fab presentation. Based on this good experience, decided to opt for the hotel pricey breakfast assuming it was worth it. NOT!!! Stale rolls (where did the freshly baked bread go???), skimpy portions of unremarkable food. The only consolation was a bottle of cava that lifted my mood slightly. Overall, I will not return. The place has a great potential and really deserves a much better management and care.
Loved this hotel! Small concierge hotel, with fobbed keys to add the spirit of tradition to the "old" hotel. The rooms were beautifully refurbished. The lodgings were clean with all the amenities you would expect including a in-room safe. The staff was friendly and helpful. The lounge was cozy and the bartenders could mix a delicious cocktail. The main dining room was adjacent to the bar. We had breakfast there several times and their Polish breakfast was delightful as was their coffee! Location, location, location! We could walk almost anywhere, but if we were too tired it was easy to pick up a cab for a short ride back to the hotel.
The location is in the hip, foody area of the city. The hotel is art deco, clean, and very quiet. I was there 3 nights and never saw another guest, fwiw. Every time I entered the reception area, the receptionists would always stand to greet me and ask if I needed anything - a bit much, but I can appreciate the distinct level of service. They pay attention to all the details. Since you must show your passport in european hotels when checking in, they noticed it would be my birthday and arranged for complimentary extras for me; it was a nice touch. The hotel's top floor sauna and steam room are a nice treat as well. I really enjoyed staying here and for the price, I think it's well worth it.
Hotel is very well located away from the bustling noisy city centre yet less than 5 minutes walk to the busy centre and easy access to any part of Warsaw. The rooms are really well furnished and large and clean and one feels very welcome and at home in this boutique hotel. The reception is charming too though small as is the restaurant. Great places to eat various types of cuisines all around the hotel and in the city centre.
This pretty small but very well located Hotel had nice and stylish rooms, excellent breakfast and very friendly staff. No complaints whatsoever. WiFi was speedy and traffic outside didn’t bother at all. It has also various nice restaurants for dinner.
This is an amazing and beautiful art deco hotel. Just a short walk from great restaurants, shopping, and the old town. The rooms are very comfortable, quiet, and beautiful. The bathrooms are very clean... my only complaint is that the showers are very small. The breakfast is very yummy and a great start to the day! The wifi always worked with no issues. I highly recommend this hotel!
The hotel is a boutique hotel from days gone by. It is so beautiful and charming. The room was very clean and the bed very comfortable. Location is great near all the main attractions. Nice bar in the hotel as well as a very nice restaurant. Lots of places around the hotel also to eat at. The staff could not have being nicer. Front desk team very helpful.
The Hotel Rialto was a beautiful hotel in a great location. The only problem with the hotel that we found were the staff - every time we would walk into the lobby they would just stare blankly at us and be very unwelcoming. On one morning when my sister and I walked down to the lobby, we were actually relieved that nobody was at the desk so we didn't feel awkward.
We had a suite which was lovely. Very clean, minimalist but this is appropriate to the style of the hotel. Loved both the coffee machine and kettle in the room - great additions. The staff were very helpful. Breakfast was an absolute delight, one of the best ever! The hotel is central but in a quiet neighbourhood. We found that we could walk to most of the places we wanted to visit on foot from the hotel.
Very nice place with cozy and elegant rooms, excellent service and helpful staff. The suite was elegantly but unobtrusively styled in a pleasant art deco style. We were pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere and homely feeling. The only minus was the stuffy duvet, but that was easily taken care of. I can clearly recommend this place to friends and family.
