Hotel was great. Our second visit due to Manhattan hotels outrageous cost for KSU game days. Breakfast is always good with nice selections. Wamego has a few good dining options too. Close to Manhattan, so an easy commute to KSU for the game. Staff is friendly. Hotel is not new or fancy - but is clean and reasonable.

The staff was amazing. There were always 2-3 people in the lobby making sure guests had everything they needed. The breakfast area was constantly being cleaned and the area was spotless. The hotel is a little bit old but they take such pride in keeping everything nice for guests. The workers were so friendly and of course, loved on my pup Buddy. It was very very quiet and I had a great nights sleep. Highly recommend.

Room had a musty smell. Bathroom had a very strong urine odor. Carpet had not been vacuumed. Bathroom ceiling had huge wet spot with stained ceiling tiles, apparently from bathroom above. A homeless guy was hanging out in the lobby both evenings and had his bags and bed roll in the breakfast area. Bright spot was the breakfast. It was simple but tasty.

The hotel was charming, although a bit of an older model. It had a nice swimming area and the breakfast was delicious. Personally my favorite part of the hotel was its staff. They were pleasant and friendly and did their best to make your stay troublefree.
