The property was quiet and lush with fruit trees and local fauna. Beautiful. The staff were friendly and very helpful, even after business hours.

Great place to stay! Far less expensive than a large hotel chain and great service with personal touches (2 home baked cookies each morning, complementary bottles of water and shopping bag). Room was spacious, shower even more so with Aveda toiletries. 15 minute drive fro the airport and 15 minute drive to the harbor. It's not located on the water but it has nice grounds and for the price, can't beat it! It's located on a side street so very quiet at night. Beds were comfortable, room had robes, hair dryer, coffee maker with several coffee pod options. Our room had a large ceiling fan and AC. There was a framed menu in the room which highlighted the breakfast provided (different each day) and they provide a free to-go breakfast if you cannot make the 8am breakfast at the main building. Parking was free although the parking lot was rather small but there was always a spot available. Would definitely stay here again and recommend.

Very welcoming inn, fantastic breakfasts, and the feeling of old Hawaii style with modern comforts.

Personal attention started weeks before our scheduled arrival when we were asked about food preferences -- the owners prepare a wonderful breakfast and generously take guests' allergies and other quirks into account. Guests sit around an elegantly set table for breakfast, getting acquainted and sharing plans and experiences. Our room was impeccably appointed, cozy and comfortable. Old Wailuku Inn is an extraordinary hospitality experience.

Lovely inn in old Wailuku; not near the beach, but easy driving to all parts of Maui. Can't speak for any of the other rooms in the inn, as each one is different, however, we had a great king size bed, a huge bathroom and lots of storage space. Wonderful, helpful hosts. Lots of international guests at breakfast; great conversations. Terrific breakfasts. Always available snacks in the breakfast room, along with a refrigerator for guests to use. Lovely, cool front lanai porch overlooking beautifully maintained, lush yard. We will definitely stay there again the next time we're on Maui.

Aloha MariaC, Thank you for your high mark review. We're glad you enjoyed the property and found the staff to be friendly and helpful. We are always "on duty" however, and we do need to take a little personal time for a good balance "after business hours." Occasionally, guests will need assistance after-hours locking keys in the room or trouble with the tv, and we are happy to help even after business hours. We appreciate that you chose our property to be a part of your vacation plans. We hope that if you find your way back to our island that you'll keep us in mind. Mahalo, Shelly
