I spend two days in this camp and had an unforgettable experience, especially because of Mater that will make your stay amazing. Because I was traveling alone, he specially cares about my stay and tried his best to show me the Bedouin way of life. He is reliable and funny, and always ready to help you for any things. The staff is really friendly and focused to traverlers'need at any time. They go to pick you up in the village when you arrived, contrary to some other camp that let you wait there for long. The food is really good at lunch and dinner. The bed is very confortable and the bathroom is clean and works perfectly. There is no additional cost. I highly recommend to stay there to get the best wadi Rum experience!

There is no doubting that staying in Wadi Rum is a challenge. Within 30 minutes of settling into our rooms after the sun had set the lights went out - a problem with the diesel generator. This was quickly fixed and all was good. Like all accommodation in Wadi Rum, this camp is a long way from any where. But that said, that is part of the ‘adventure’ of staying in Wadi Rum. The 'tents' are simple; we had a ‘family’ room with three single beds. It was hot at night but my advice is to have a short shower (there is little water in the desert) and then don’t dry yourself. By the time you walk back to your room, the slight breeze will have cooled you down and made you ready for bed. The camp is very simple. All the ‘tents’ form two neat lines and these are next to the common dining room, and below a small terrace where you can sit and look out across the desert. The bathroom is a shared arrangement with individual showers and toilets. Like the rest of the camp, the bathroom is clean and spotless if a little knock around. The tents are absolutely spotless and the beds comfortable. The night we stayed there was a Bedouin BBQ or Zarb, where all the meat is cooked in what looks like a 40 gallon drum buried in the ground with hot coals. This then forms part of a buffet style dinner with dips and salads. There was plenty of food and bottled water for everyone. There is also sweet black Jordanian tea available for those who wish to settle in the dining room before dinner, or take your tea up to the terrace and enjoy your dessert surrounds. The camp was full the night we stayed. We were there with another family and our three teenagers had no trouble settling in or making their way around the small footprint that is the camp. The camp provides simple and basic three star accommodation. The staff are friendly and everything works well and easily. There is no WiFi in the camp and lighting is low in the common area. So bring a book so you have something to do when it gets dark.

A memorable part of our vacation. The tent fit myself and my two boys very comfortably. The Vista was absolutely lovely. The most gorgeous sunrise and sunset over the desert. The communal eating was a special part of the trip. Would definitely stay here again

The place is nice - obviously in the middle of nowhere and the rooms were clean. However, the bathrooms were not clean and the experience was mediocre. The hosts were not very hospitable, the dinner and breakfast options were very limited (while we were promised something else) and we even had an insect in the strained yogurt that nobody cared to attend do. The night was plain in this lodge compared to other places I've been in Wadi Rum.

This wasn't our first choice but it was a pretty good experience. The staff is very attentive, approachable, and warm. The dinner was great. They cooked lamb, chicken, and vegetables under the sand and it was really tender and tasty. The bathroom was shared and clean. The rooms are simple, the bedding was comfortable and warm. Our 4x4 tour was a nice experience. The scenery is great, our driver was fun. We went to different places in the desert and watched the sunset.

Milky way camp is unforgettable camp in the middle of desert. It provides all kind of services in desert, you can take jeep safari tour or camel ride, Dinner is organized in the Bedouin traditions with a impressive show. It's very quiet place with no any voice. Should you like to discover desert it;s the best place to do it. Staff is very polite and professional. They will let take care of you and will make your stay memorable.

The place (Wadi Rum) is beyond beauty, but everybody knows that already. What you don't expect is to find such a lovely camp, not too fancy/artificial (which makes the experience real) but very clean, warm and well organized. The staff is lovely, always professional and resouceful. The food is probably the best I have tried in Jordan. Tents are warm, clean and properly organized. The common spaces (such as the big tent used for common activities - dinners, chats, relax, etc. - and the restrooms) are very well maintained and always clean. You ask for something, they immediatly make it real. I had a wonderful experience in the Milky Way Ecolodge, I was travelling alone (but I saw families with children and couples as satisfied as I was) and I found human warmth, friendship and the sensation to understand a little bit more this amazing bedouin culture. I strongly suggest this camp for any kind of traveller: lone ones, families with children, couples or groups.

Wadi Rum was our favorite part of our trip to Jordan. In addition to the incredible and otherworldly landscapes, the Milkyway made this an unforgettable experience. The camp is very clean, organized, and very well equipped. The tents were cozy and warm.

We came with our family and loved it! Louay and the guys that run it looked after us so well - and the food was superb. Highly recommended. Kids loved playing on the sand dunes and we all loved the spectacular views. Also had a fab camel ride.

Wadi Rum is a not-to-miss attraction in Jordan and the team at Milky Way make your experience extremely easy! The food is cooked on site (vegetarians might need to bring your own food). Bedding was clean and warm!
