The property was beautiful and beautifully appointed. We felt safe and it was quiet. The parking was easy. We were able to easily walk to the sites we wanted to see, and easily navigate to sites that were a bit further away. Communication with the host was always fast and friendly, and the check in and check out were easy. When in Waco, we will definitely return! Thank you for a great stay!

Mimi and Me trip

This place is gorgeous! The view from the 6th floor at night is spectacular. This place is so close the Silos and the Dr. Pepper museum. The weather was perfect and we walked over to the Silos. I loved that the parking spot was covered. My 15yr old granddaughter already asked if we can stay here again on our next road trip to Waco. I loved the area rug living room.

Wonderful!

This property was perfect for our family. It was within walking distance to many restaurants and the Silos and a short drive to Baylor's campus. The hosts were very thoughtful in stocking items to make our stay easy. Will definitely book again!

Baylor Bear Weekend

We loved the unit, it was very comfortable. It had plenty of space for our group. Especially enjoyed the beautiful decorations, the comfy beds and the view of the downtown area.

The luxe penthouse is beautiful and had everything we needed. It was a wonderful location which allowed us to walk to most of the things we wanted to do. The beds were extremely comfortable and it was very clean. As with other reviews, there is quite a bit of noise from outside that is very easily heard in the unit, including the music from the bars and the train. It is also very easy to hear everything going on in the unit since the walls don’t go all the way to the ceiling so if someone is talking, snoring, etc in one bedroom, it sounds like they are in the same room. This wasn’t a problem for us, but could be for light sleepers or privacy.

Stay was perfect. Spotless apartment and a very safe building/location in Waco. Stocked with more essentials than we expected (shampoo, cleaning supplies, etc…)

Girls Weekend Getaway

We are a group of 4 girlfriends celebrating a 50th birthday with a surprise trip to Waco. This condo exceeded our expectations in every way. We really appreciated having a designated parking spot and the check in process couldn't have been easier with key codes on both the exterior door of the building and the door to our condo. The condo itself had everything we needed for our weekend - plus a few extras you don't always find in hotels or other listings like full size toiletries in the showers, well appointed kitchen, complementary snacks, and a drawer full of fun games. There was also two luggage carts in the lobby that made getting our bags to and from the car in one trip a breeze. The location of the condo was excellent, we easily walked to the Silos area as well as several great restaurants and shops nearby. The only complaint we had (by no fault of the owner) is regarding the bar that shares a fence with the building. There was quite a bit of music and crowd noise between 8pm-2am on Friday and Saturday night. We were able to drown it out with white noise machines that we brought with us so if this is a concern to future guests, bring a noise machine. I will definitely stay here again if visiting the area. Such a gem! Thanks for opening your home to our group.

Waco weekend

We just had a great weekend at the Sailor Bear property. My wife and I took my mother for an explore Waco weekend. The property was exactly as described. Great building. Parking was easy and close. Check in and out were easy. Wonderful place. Clean. Larger than it looked in the pictures. Very well maintained and stocked with everything you need. Decor and furniture are top notch. Perfect coffee bar set up. Lots of quality linens. These guys know what they are doing. Loved this place. Our only negative was also a plus. The location. It is close to so many great things downtown, but there is a bar/club in an adjacent property that blasts dance music until 2AM. The bedrooms do have white noise sound machines for sleep (which was appreciated) but these didn’t come close to drowning out the non-stop bass beats from next door. We enjoyed the property so much I still give it a 5 star, but just be aware of noise if it’s an issue for you.

Sailor Bear Hideaway - Great Stay!

Sailor Bear Hideaway was a wonderful place to stay in Waco. The condo was comfortable as well as beautifully decorated. Our family of 4 had plenty of room to relax and enjoy our Thanksgiving weekend. We were able to walk to the Magnolia Silos and many other restaurants, coffee shops and retail stores. I highly recommend this great place.

Best VRBO stay Ever

The pictures don’t do justice to this place. It is beautifully decorated, the kitchen is well stocked and it is so CLEAN! It is exactly like the description and over exceeded my expectations and I am a seasoned VRBO customer. The beds were the most comfortable I have ever slept in with the softest comforter and sheets and perfect pillows. I took pictures of several pieces of furniture and artwork. The location is perfect. Close to amazing restaurants, the Magnolia Complex and of course Baylor. If you are planning a trip to Waco…this is definitely the place to stay.
