This place was so unique and amazing!!! Very special place that we are lucky to have found. We also got there in time for the volcano to erupt. Proximity to the park was unbelievable and the management was extremely helpful and friendly. Cannot recommend enough.

Gorgeous property, quiet and serene, loved sleeping to the rain. It is clear this place was a labor of love to build and is well maintained. The volcanoes national park was 5 mins away and so convenient. The little “town” of Volcano had good restaurants and art center. Would love to come back!

This is one of the nicest bed and breakfast place I’ve stayed at in Hilo and it’s close to volcano national park about a 5 min drive! They will text you to meet you at the time you arrive to show you around and if you need anything you can text. The place does come with free wifi and it has a kitchen and free breakfast items. I loved the Japanese hot tub in the back but this place is so cozy in paradise tranquility! I definitely recommend this spot if staying in Hilo! Only thing is the closest grocery store is 30 min drive if you plan to cook here.

Ein unglaublich ruhiger und gemütlicher Ort inmitten des Regenwalds zum Relaxen und Verweilen. Wir waren als Familie mit 1 Kind im Guest Cottage für (leider nur) 2 Nächte und haben den Regenwald und die Nähe zum Volcanoes Nationalpark genossen. This was the most serene and relaxing place we have stayed! The hosts are so charming and helpful but still give you a lot of privacy. The grounds are incredible! You feel like you’re in the middle of the rainforest! Great place to disconnect in nature. The restaurants in town were great too!

We had an amazing experience at Volcano Rainforest Retreat. It was just my husband and me on our annual "just us" retreat (no kids!) Our cottage was hidden from view by a thick tropical garden, making us feel like we were all alone in a jungle. We had a private Japanese hot tub outside and a shower- both hidden behind lush tropical plants. Every day, we were treated to a clean room and a basket with breakfast goodies. The location of the Retreat could not be any better- we were just a couple of miles away from the Volcano National Park and in close proximity to the village with several delighful restaurants. By the end of our stay (which was a whole week), we fell in love with this place. We defintiely plan to come back.
