Beautiful Gem With All the Comforts of Home

Our stay at Villa Bachelor was perfect! The apartment was spotless and very well appointed. We had a beautiful private balcony with sea views complete with very comfortable outdoor furnishings and a sun umbrella for the afternoons. Everything was very new and well maintained and the semi-private pool (shared with 2 other apartments) was a special treat on hot Croatian afternoons. Communication with the owner's son who was onsite for the summer was superb. Dennis spoke excellent English and was very helpful. Onsite parking in the courtyard between the two residences was so convenient and worry free. The outside of the pool area is surrounded by beautiful fruit trees and garden plants and it felt like lounging in a tropical oasis. We didn't take advantage of the outdoor grill area but it looked equally well maintained and was also spotless. Vodice itself is a hidden and underrated gem along Croatia's coast. We spent 5 days at Villa Bachelor and wanted more! Vodice is a very central location for exploring many nearby villages with unique histories as easy half day or day trips. When we return to Croatia (and we will!), Villa Bachelor will be on the top of our list of places to stay again.
