The staff was friendly, but it was nothing like advertised. It was very dirty, smelled like cigarettes and weed. Nothing really seemed completed. The walls, rooms…. It was just kind of gross. My kid cried, because she didn’t want to go back and felt unsafe. Not really what I spent money on. I typically love La Quinta properties when we travel through.

When I checked in we did not have any towels or washcloths. There was black hair all over the bathroom/shower. Floor was dirty, we did t dare take our shoes off. Bedding was also dirty.

Hotel room had clogged sink. Shower pressure was horrible. All appliances were not plugged in or did not have outlets. Bed was sunken in the middle. Entire hotel smelled of marijuana. As we were leaving a man was mopping after having sprayed cleaner over the entire floor and did not warn us to be careful. Upon arrival nobody greeted me. They looked at me and then talked to each other. After a few mins of standing there they said something to me.

The room had a very strong chemical smell. The floors were sticky and dirty. I suspect the two issues were related. Maybe they used very concentrated mop water and just rubbed it around with the dirt on the floor and called it cleaning. The pictures are so much better than the place. The room didn't have enough electrical outlets to charge our stuff. There was construction here and there. After 12:00 A.M. there was some inexplicable banging that woke us all up. Also, many people making noise slamming doors and talking loudly late at night as if they were incapable of understanding that families might possibly be trying to sleep. It doesn't look like the hotel is doing much to maintain a respectful environment. Definitely the kind of place to bring a hooker, not a family. Never again in La Quinta. The breakfast was ok.

Whenever I come to Virginia Beach I always stay at this location. Over the 5-8 years the accommodations aren’t as good. The bed was uncomfortable and squeaky. Had to change rooms because the heat wasn’t working. Don’t know if I will come back to this hotel.

Hotel needs a renovation, looks run down Water coming out of the bathroom faucet had a brown color each time you turn it on, after a few seconds it clears up, probably because of the faucet Ac unit noisy, especially when in heat Guest entrance on the backside of the building has two abandoned cars in it, one with a Texas license plate that expired in Oct of 2022, the other one has no tags at all, lots of trash around the area The bed slept well Hotel was quiet for the most part, a little bit of traffic noise, but you’re next to a major highway I doubt if I’ll stay here again
