at check in, they were going to charge me their normal $91 rate instead of your $68 rate. i had to explain that i used your ratez and show them your e-mail confirm to get the $68 rate. aside from that , the stay was pleasant
The Buffalo Run hotel was much nicer than I expected, the pool was great, clean and tidy. Service was good, they were busy, had one small issue with billing but it was resolved quickly. Very nice hotel for the money. Beds were super comfortable! Bathroom amenities were of good quality also.
We were in town for a family function. Made the reservation online, very easy I might add. Our accommodations were better than expected for the price we paid. Will stay there again on our next trip back.
Everything was perfect at this hotel except ONE thing. The shower would not work and we were offered "a vase to use when washing our hair". Maintenance staff apparently only works certain shifts (as problems only occur when expected, right?) However, the front desk did refund $20 of my room few so, in the end a happy customer, but still somewhat disappointed about the issue and response.

The room rate that I had paid and the rate charged did not match. It took an hour from the time we started to check-in to when we were allowed to go to our room. Clerk could not get the transaction peocess for the 2 night stay, and wanted me to pay with an additional credit card. Had to talk to the manager the next morning including calling orbitz myself to get the problem solved.
The desk clerks were very friendly. We got lost due to an inaccurate Google map and called the hotel. The clerk gave us the correct route to the hotel after several minutes of establishing our real location. She was most patient and helpful.
Primarily spent time in Joplin with family that survived the tornado, so not the best trip to the area. The hotel was clean with helpful staff, would have appreciated an expanded comp breakfast.

This is our second stay at the Buffalo Run Hotel. The beds and pillows are awesome. The best thing about the hotel for us is that they allow our little Chihuahua to stay for just a couple of dollars extra per night. It is one the nicest hotels in the area.
We had a great time at the Buffalo Run Hotel... The room was nice, the walls were NOT paper thin which we were happy about. Continental breakfast was appropriate... The only thing we were a bit bummed about was the face that the casino didn't offer 2.00 minimum black jack tables...we had to go to different casinos in the area for that. But there were shuttles (golf carts) from hotel to casino and everyone was very friendly...overall good stay.
