The location was terrific- close to shops, village and ski lifts. Wonderful views from my unit. Unit was great with everything I needed for my stay... and more. Plenty of supplies for an overseas traveller. Trevor was wonderful to deal with from the first booking. He was prompt with responding to issues which were not many. He was so accomodating for my early arrival, letting me leave luggage before check in time. I definitely would stay here in one of Trevor's units at Glaciers reach in the future.
The whole apartment was a generous size including a kitchen supplied with the a good range of basic day to day things you might need for self catering. The property is a 2 min walk from the supermarket and a further 8 to the bottom of Fitzsimmons lift! Each rental comes with a hot tub which is a great bonus after a full day of boarding. Trev is a great host, supplying you with all the info you will need and making you feel very welcome. When we couldn't get our fire working he was straight over and got it sorted. This is a great venue for your Whistler vacation. Don't bother with anywhere else
4 of us stayed here for 10 nights in March and had a great time. Fully equipped apartment, free wifi, private hot tub on balcony with a view of blackcomb in the distance. Bus stop 2 mins walk for ski lifts. Supermarket and liquor store 3-4 mins walk, and shops & restaurants only a short walk away too. Two free underground car park spaces. One ensuite and one family bathroom. Boot warmers in entrance and place for skis and coats etc. Washing machine and dryer in the apartment. Definitely would stay here again.
Great unit perfect location for Market, shuttle and town. Unit is well equipped and furnished. Whilst it could sleep seven it was perfect for four of us, two couples. The mezzanine and extra washroom are a bonus Owner and Manager Trevor Chelswick is great to deal with. Great hot tub on a huge top floor deck too.
We stayed at no 50 / 51. It was plenty big enough for 2 couples & had all the facilities we needed. The hot tub on the balcony was super. Mid- trip service was very good. Booking experience & all other arrangements were very good.
We booked a 2 bed apartment for 5 adults with own hot tub on balcony with views. Instead our hot tub is in the ground floor in a dark dingy sport right next to another apartments front door. Not what we booked. When we questioned the accommodation with the resort manager he was most unhelpful stating that the apartments are different and the photos are just representative. We have been coming to whistler for the last 13 years and this is by far the worst accommodation that we have arrived at.
Awesome place to stay! So close to the village and the hot tub was awesome! Will go back in the summer for sure! We lives how much space there was in the cabins and they had everything we needed! So cute So close to everything
Stayed at 51 Glacier reach for 15 nights and the place was a pleasure to stay at. Has its own spa on the balcony which was used everyday after skiing. The place was really clean and comfortable and would sleep up to 8 people comfortably. Trevor the manager was a pleasure to deal with and would not hesitate to book with him again. Right opposite the IGA which has brilliant soup made fresh everyday and opposite the bus stop to take you to the lifts. Would not stay anywhere else next time i'm in Whistler.
We stayed in unit 10, which was an Airbnb 2 bedroom rental. The following only applies to that unit and our stay during late January 2017. The Good: Great value and very nice Village North location close to conveniences but far enough out to have good quiet when desired! Very responsive host and clean unit right next to garage access stairs (major plus!). Great town home-like community sets it apart from hotel-apartment style lodging in surrounding area. The OK: Private hot tub nice but size cramped for 4 persons with no community tub option available (community pool and tub were clearly not functioning when we stayed at end of January 2017). Narrow layout made living room socialization difficult for our group of 6 persons (3 person couch facing armoir with TV with no other seating other than dining room chairs). The Needed: Wi-Fi. Summary: Everyone in our group would gladly stay here again under same/similar circumstances!
I'm writing with specific mention to number 65 glaciers reach, I believe each of the condos is individually run and owned so you may not experience the same at each place. Trevor and the All Seasons team who manage this condo were fantastic before our stay answering any question and during our stay arranging a late check out and a place to keep our luggage. As we stayed for 10 nights we also received a mid stay clean which was great. The complex is in a great location, a few minutes walk to the marketplace, right over from the bus stop, where the shuttle bus regularly stops for trips to the gondolas ( or it is a short 15 minute walk). The hot tub for this particular condo was incredibly private with a great view of the mountain and was situated on the balcony off the bedroom so not overlooked at all (some other condos has their hot tub right on the path way so aren't very private) -the hot tub was hot, working and a real treat after a day on the mountain. We were really impressed when we arrived, it's a big apartment over 2 floors with 2 balconies and the kitchen was well equipped, bed comfortable and plenty of space for all equipment and clothing without being cluttered. The wifi was great and had a strong signal and the cable to was really good also. The bathroom was nice with plenty of hot water and good shower pressure. We received a welcome box of some chocolate, muscle soak, maps and tea/coffee which was a nice touch. There's lots of information in the apartment about the area and tourist advice, plus you receive discount at spicy sports equipment hire if you're staying with Trevor ( think you have to book online in advance and use a code Trevor emails you). All in all we had a great stay, couple of minor gripes in that a little modernisation/refresh wouldn't go a miss and a couple of minor things like light bulbs/lamps weren't working but this is minor and I'm sure would have been rectified if we raised it during our stay ( but it didn't bother us that much). We would love to come back to Whistler and wouldn't think of staying anywhere else, great apartment and great customer service.
