Accommodations were lovely. Had trouble with regulating room temperature which caused some discomfort.

Marla at reception is the best. She made up for the delay in checking in ~ 3:45 pm.

Modern, clean, good location. Nice breakfast. Friendly staff.

The hotel has a sophisticated look and feel. Rooms are decent sized with modern bathrooms. The hotel is premium priced and has a higher than normal room rate ( even for Iceland) but no breakfast is included ($24,) and that was a disappointment.

It’s restaurant has good food although it’s a limited menu for dinner.breakfast is good. Location is very good. Across the street there is a grocery store and a couple or restaurants and a shop where you can buy warm clothing and souvenirs. It’s about 10-15 min. Drive to Reynisfjara (black sand beach).

We really liked this property and Vik. The staff was helpful and the breakfast was amazing. The location is the BEST! right across from the Black Sand Beach and has some civilization around it. The room was big enough and it had a lovely bar for cocktails.

The rooms are nice but small. The biggest problem with this hotel is that they are unable to shut off the heat to the rooms and there is no air conditioning. The heat was on all night and the room was about 90 degrees. They said to open the window, which we did but the window was very small and didn't let in much air. I would not stay there again in the summer.

NIce place but a litter overpriced thought expected in iceland. Strange to not have a fridge in the room but the place is clean and modern rooms with a pretty lounge area. Nice staff as well!

The room was comfortable but nothing fancy. The shower didn’t have a lip only a curtain so the whole bathroom was wet after. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The beds were comfortable.

Rooms were very clean. Showers were wonderful. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Great location - perfect place to make a base on the South Coast.

The staff at the front desk were very responsive and helpful. On the other hand, there was no one at the bar for about 15 minutes, just before the end of the happy hour.

Excellent staff and food! After a shower though the room could not regulate and get colder even with the air on. Only complaint but would definitely go back!

Room was comfortable and clean, although sparsely decorated in typical Scandinavian aesthetic. The use liquid L'Occitane for their soap and shampoo, which was a nice touch. Room was very clean, towels were fluffy. We had to keep our room window closed because we were located near the path to the front door and we could hear ever person that walked by noisily chatting away at all hours. There's no way to turn on a fan in the room, per typical Icelandic HVAC systems, so we had no air circulation, which made the room feel stuffy. The included breakfast was a generous spread, with something for everyone. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. There is a large grocery store and Icelandic clothing store across the road from the hotel, which was very handy.

Nice new and modern hotel. Big and clean rooms with nice bathroom. Best of the icelandair hotels we stayed at (out of this one and both in Reykjavik). Definitely recommend for Vik.

For a hotel over $350, tv wasn’t working, towels were replaced as well as paper cups. They don’t even have regular cups provided in the room. The room is very tiny and the shower & bathroom is cruise size small. We will not stay at this hotel again
