Villa Alceo is a historical villa located in Viggiù, a small village in the province of Varese, just one hour away from Milan, 25 minutes from Como, Varese and Lugano.
Villa Alceo features a large park of 11000 sqm where you will find a peaceful environment adorned by statues, fountains and porphyry paths.
In the middle of the park you will find the Villa, surrounded by a large terrace with statues and fountains.
Once you enter the villa it will be like being in a stopped-in-time ambiance. The hallways feature Belle Epoque and liberty ceilings, crystal chandeliers, marble statues and a collection of 70 Russian paintings.
The big staircases will bring you to the 11 different suites, all decorated differently with paintings and antiques.
In the morning you will wake up by the birdsong and by the perfume of fresh bakeries. You will then be able to relax on your balcony, have a nice walk in the park, do some hiking or biking in the surrounding mountains. All you need is to relax!
The villa is air-conditioned and features a kitchen, 11 bathrooms, and a balcony or patio. There's space to spread out with 12 bedrooms and a dining area. Schönes, stilvolles Haus - aber leider nicht gut erhalten (bspw Toilettenspülung teils defekt, Klopapierhalter fiel ab). Service war, obwohl sehr bemüht und sehr nett, nicht gut - bspw war Frühstück, welches für 8h bestellt war, teils erst 30min später bereit - und wurde mit schlechten Ausreden begründet (bspw „Dienstags ist es schwer, Brot zu kriegen“).

Amazing

Villa Alceo is amazing. Staying here was like leaving in a different age and being part of a fairy tale. Everything has been meticulously cared for and has been done for the comfort of the guests. Bruno and Julia did a great job taking care of us and really have a desire to make everything perfect. This property is the best place for a week away from the real world or to have the fantasy destination wedding. The renovated attic level is beautiful and has been decorated wonderfully. We had 4 18 year old young ladies with us and they chose the attic level over the beautiful main level suites because it was so different than anything they had ever experience. We will recommend Villa Alceo to our friends and I can't wait to see one of those 4 get married at this incredible place.
