I arrived to check in to the hotel. They have no check-in desk, which I was aware of. There is usually someone there in the shop or in the bar to help you at this point there was no one in the shop and no one in the bar. I located someone who was cleaning a room to help me attempt to get checked in. Initially, I was given a wrong room number to which The code would not open the door upon returning downstairs and a 20 minute conversation found I was given the wrong room and assigned a new room upon attempting to sign into that room. A gentleman came from outside that room and told me that that was his room. I returned downstairs And waited for approximately 45 minutes while they located a room for me. Accepted “had to be cleaned“ myself, my niece, and my daughter sat in the lobby for close to two hours during this whole process. When we did eventually get into the room, it was absolutely filthy crumbs on the carpet Tags from clothing that people had opened in the room still on the floor stains in the bathtub about as bad as you can expect without actually seen any kind of creature. The shop bar were not open at all that day due to low staff I hate to dog the place out because when I do get there, I have a fantastic time and I’ve stayed there multiple multiple times.While I can’t solve any problems as far as the amenities being open or closed, I have always had great success when booking through VRBO. I have never had a good experience when booking directly through the hotel.co
