Econo Lodge Downtown

I stayed here for two nights and it was one of the worst decision. I have stayed in few econolodge before and got msled this time by trusting the brand name. 1) Poor room maintenance 2) Hardly any channels in TV 3) we thought of leaving our toilet supplies just to help the staffs to provide the same to next guests 4) Breakfast? Nobody near by to refill. But already there was a limited supply of food 5) almost expired morning buns were served. Please run away

Great place for the price. Good service, room was clean and neat, easy to find.

I was surprised with this Econo Lodge, when I pulled up late at night I was a bit worried. When I opened the door I was so happy. The room was clean and the beds just hugged you so comfortable. There was a kitchen and that was very nice. I know next time I'm in the area Econo Lodge has my business. I would highly recommend this place

Great location, decent breakfast and quite clean and comfortable place. Would definitely stay here again.

The front desk guy was informative. The room was very clean, with a good-sized tub shower combo. Great water pressure (actually, you could hear showers in adjacent rooms, not so good). The room was a little small, but had a king-sized bed, microwave, fridge and even iron/ironing board. There's a not-cooked-to-order breakfast, but it does include hard-boiled eggs, plus the usual toast, cereal, juice, coffee. This place is a very good value. We would stay again if we returned to Vernal.

The TV, fridge and microwave, were in good working condition, The bed felt super super firm. Furniture looked a little dusty but location was good. Staff seemed friendly and cooperative.

I found this hotel to be clean and comfortable and close to all the downtown businesses.

If all you need is a place to rest your head, this will do. Don't count on the breakfast for anything more than coffee.

Its a two star hotel in a small Utah town. The price was too high, but that is a product for the demand in rooms (there was a lot of construction work going on). I was satisfied with the room for the most part. Here is where they fell short: 1- customer service was bad 2- internet access was very slow 3- room walls are very thing, you can here everything going on around you.

We were in town for a funeral.

We just stayed one night. The indvidual at the front desk really couldn't speak English. I was asked to sign a form that did not contain the room rental amount agreed upon with you (Orbitz). I asked several questions and none of them were understood and, therefore, unanswered. I did finally sign the form trusting all was well (and it was!). The room was clean and acceptable. But the bathrub "creaked" when I stepped in for a shower. It sounded as if there was nothing under the tub to support it. Weird feeling! Of course, I didn't fall anywhere, but... I don't feel I would recommend this Econolodge in Vernal, UT, to anyone else due to the two items mentioned above.

we were promptly greeted and checked in at the hotel. our room had an extremely small bathroom and we ran out of hot water after 1 person showered. the room was a bit outdated, and a little overpriced for what we received. overall, an acceptable one night stay at a tidy hotel room. what more could you really ask for?

Just adequate. Kind of overpriced for a minimum quality hotel. Minimal breakfast (no juice, no fruit, no decaf, only sweet kiddie cereal). Manager had the WiFi password wrong. Shower missing control knob. Six in drop at door to room. Etc...

When we arrived, the sign on the dor said, "Ring Buzzer for Service after 10:30PM". It was 10:02 but the dor was locked. The response to the buzzer took about tree minutes - we thought we were going to have to find another hotel. The beds were the hardest I've EVER (NOT)slept on & the pillows were just as bad. In the morning we sat in our room with the door ajar using our cell phones to set appointments and about 11AM an older gentleman (we assumned him to be the owner) pushed the door open and said, "Get Out!" That was it, just "get out". Honestly, in all my travels, and I travel a LOT - this was the WORST hotel I've ever stayed in!
