We stayed here mid April for 3 nights. The best bits of the hotel...well there are so many !! The restaurant on an evening ..lush food but limited selection ..The bar area is fab...comfy sofas and amazing views of lagoon from restaurant and bar . Great presentation on drinks With good selection of n Snacks. Staff..lovely...so accommodating . We stayed in a suite on the back of the hotel above the main road on the first night .The air con doesnt get switched on until May so we opened the windows but so noisy with traffic that we asked to move to Lagoon View for next 2 nights ! Wow...loved it ...the view was spectacular and so tranquil !! Location is amazing...2 minute walk from water taxi stop...5 minute walk from main strip with plenty of restaurants/bars all good quality . Interior is typical venetian ...very traditional in a good way !! I want to go back !! Beds so comfy . Thankyou for looking after us so well !@
Very welcoming location. Everything was very good - The rooms, cleanliness, location beside the Lido water bus stop, views of the lagoon, staff, showers and whole experience. I'd love to return and stay again. Thank you to the hotel team for taking care of us.
We weren’t sure the hotel / restaurant was open and finally made our way to the hotel entrance to be met by the best staff. We wanted to sit on the terrace overlooking Venice, Luca, maitre De, immediately made us feel welcome and explained that we could but please excuse the developments they were making in preparation for the summer season. We enjoyed some drinks and watched the sun literally set over Venice from our table. We then enjoyed a fabulous meal which included a wonderful wine, Rupass Valpolceilla suggested by Luca - wow. After dinner we were asked if we would like to return to the terrace, we then enjoyed the rest of our bottle of wine under the moonlight. We finished having amaeretto and lemoncella in the bar to be then thanked by Luca and the team with a present reminding us of our wonderful (4hr dining experience) evening. Nothing was a hassle, the service was unbelievable and we couldn’t recommend this venue higher. Take my advice, if you’re on the Lido book a table here and watch the sun go down, enjoy fantastic food and bask in the great service. Well done Luca and the team and thank you for giving us a lifelong memory. Top man, top team.
Great location of the hotel near the water buses. The suite we stayed at was with a beautiful view of the sea, the best staff, you can imagine and in addition flowers for international women's day, especially for me. Our stay was wonderful. Thank you.
Okay guys.. ..so, if you're planning on staying in this beautiful part of the world, then I would DEFINITELY recommend this as both your hotel AND restaurant... it really is that fab!! The Maitre D, Francesco is so very polite, professional and charming and his colleague Luca equally so......we've been made to feel so VERY special and we couldn't have asked for a better evening 🤗😍🤗..... 😘
My wife and I stayed here for Valentine's day. The staff were very friendly and accomodating. We loved the room and the food. Our stay included breakfast which was very convenient. This is across from Venice and it was very romantic. The views are great. The hotel rooms are extremely detailed and well done. This is also within walking distance of many fabulous places to eat. We will stay here again when we return.
My wife and I arrived at this lovely Lido hotel and upon checking in, found that our room had been upgraded, without our asking, to a suite on the top floor. This being my wife's and my 18-year anniversary, exceeded our expectations! The receptionist spoke English quite well as well as other languages easily. The business-end was very friendly and sets the standard for service anywhere. The hotel has a restaurant attached but is also within walking distance from Michelin star restaurants. Breakfast services in the morning were delicious, fresh and far beyond the basic continental fare usually offered. Cakes, breads, fruit, cereals, cheeses, meats, coffees, quiche, and more. All fresh and done well.
such a beautiful location, next to water bus station and a short walk from restaurants and bars. the welcome we received was extremely friendly and helpful, willing to help me with my italian! We had booked a garden suite for our 25th wedding anniversary, the view over the lagoon is stunning and the garden was a joy to sit in (except for the pesky mozzies that bit both of us a lot). The food in the restaurant was delicious and waiters a delight. The continental breakfast was excellent, masses of choice, everything from cakes to mixed cold meat to cheese and cereal, fresh fruit and croissant, excellent to fill up on before hitting the streets of Venice. The hotel was spotless and housekeeping staff friendly. The only slight downside was that we could hear the music from the lounge/restaurant, but it was off by 9-10 every night. Loved the hotel and staff, would love to return soon I hope
We stopped here for a quiet relaxing drink one afternoon. Comfortable seating outside overlooking the lagoon with views of Venice in the distance. Lots of interesting boating movement and occasional yacht and even huge cruise ship. Good staff with prompt service and well priced drinks. The food menu looks good but we didn't have time to try a meal. Perhaps next time. Great view. Worth a visit
nice hotel, good location, nice clean rooms, friendly and helpful staff, offers great views. Break fast is good but lacks range. Close proximity to Water bus station. enjoyed the stay and worth its price. Go for it..
