The location is the best. Just a few meters from S.Marco! But the best thing is the service. Carlo and Ricardo are so welcoming and friendly! They made the whole stay:) Definitely going back to this place. Absolutely loved it!
I checked in late, and at first glance, I was not comfortable. The entrance was small and in very poor condition. The worst of it , in the morning I was rushed by the front desk clerk, who was rude to say the least. I will never stay here again.
Personal was helpful and nice. Room was big and clean, bed was comfortable. Location is perfect, hotel is close to everywhere. Calisan yardimci ve kibardi. Oda buyuk ve temiz, yatak rahatti. Konum harika, otel her yere yakin.
All of the staff was very very helpful! An older gentlemen, I think his name was Carlo, was great with recommendations and evened arranged for a private boat to transfer us to Murano to watch a glass blowing demonstration! This hotel was truly the icing on the cake for our whole vacation! The bathrooms were VERY spacious. Having stayed in Italy before, the bathrooms were small then so I was surprised to see a roomy bathroom. The room is large as well but the only complaint I have is that there is some unnecessary furniture in the room which makes it hard to arrange your luggage. The location is perfect, walking distance from one of the water bus stops and the bridges had ramps on them so it was easy to get there with luggage. It is about a 10-15 minute walk from San Marco square. If I return to Venice, I Will definitely be coming back to A tribute to Music! Thankyou for making our vacation memorable!
This was an excellent location with a view of the lagoon! Everything was within walking distance and the staff was so helpful! The first night we got in late and Carlo recommended a lovely local restaurant just around the corner. It was our first night in Italy and the food was amazing! One cannot beat the value of this property!
Getting from the airport to Venice and the hotel is easy but only after you've done it once before. Come out of passport security and past the luggage carousels, and to the left there is a travel ticket office, to get to this hotel you need to take the water bus to Arsenale via the blue line. Takes roughly an hour and 10 mins, when you get off at Arsenale, cross the bridge to the left, the hotel is situated between 2 shops with orange canopies. note the sign for the hotel is very small by the door. You get what you pay for with this hotel, I wouldn't say this hotel was cheap but Venice is very very expensive so reasonable for a place to stay. Room very small but clean. Great location within walking distance to st marks square. All gondola rides are the same standard price of €80 so no point trying to find one that is cheaper, just pick one in a pretty location. I strongly suggest taking a boat to Burano known as the colourful island if you have time, about an hour away from Venice, water bus stop A number 14. This stop is also very close to the hotel.
I honestly didn't consider this hotel at first because I thought the name "A Tribute to Music" was so hokey! I was looking for something in close proximity to the San Zacciara vaporetti & airport shuttle stops and this fit the bill. It is hard to find the entrance because it is hidden behind tacky souvenir shops on the Riva (but our room was quiet even though it overlooked those shops). Staff is friendly and helpful (for example, the breakfast room is quite small, so they will let you know when a table is available). Room was small, but not by Venetian standards, and I thought the bathroom was excellent by old-Italian-building standards.
Room was lovely Location excellent easy access to water ferry services loads of restaurants within walking distance. Only negative lift small and pillows and bed hard warm shower I wouldn't say hot but enjoyed our 3 day visit
It is at very central location, you open the door and the street full of people, ask your self would you stay at such place ? Because it is very central so everything expensive close to the hotel. Venice is more beautiful more you go inside. Its a strange place, to go to your room we had to open four different doors. Front door, lift ( you can only use it by key), open the door with key at your floor and then your room door. Everytime you leave hotel, you have to leave your room key at reception, not sure how unsafe the place is. Most disappointing was breakfast. Very basic breakfast. Staff are okay but not very helpful. Staff that serve you breakfsst only speach Italian, which I dont mind. Actually it is good that they give job to local people who feel proud to talk in their local language. So learn basic italian words when you go for breakfast. Lot of mosquitos to bite you at night, I will not stay thier again, would stay to the close by islands or at quite location in Venice.
Enjoyed stay here. Staff excellent and helpful. Breakfast continental and very nice - selection of meat and cheese -good bread and cappuccino. Room nice - a bit small but large bathroom. Very clean. Close to St. Marks and very close to water transport.
