6 story walk up to my room, no lift. Glass shower door came off runner when trying to close. Changed towels after only one use. Plastic cup in room wrapped in plastic. Had to keep window open for ventilation. Only 1 working socket in room. Really tucked away. You get what you pay for.

Don’t do it!

4 flights of dirty carpet stairs to a room filled with mosquitos and dead ones on the walls. Broken shower head. Tiny bathroom. Super old and gross. Sign in the room said “sorry the government won’t let us update” hmm ever heard of paint and some modern furniture? Thinking the reviews in here are fake because it was not even close to good.

I enjoyed my stay here, the room even though for one person was spacious and had a decent view. The shared toilet/bathroom was not ever an issue. It is in a very convenient location with many top tourist spots only a short walk away! And the staff were very friendly.

Great location and truly wonderful staff

The location is hard to beat, tucked along a peaceful canal but just minutes from many of Venice’s busiest sights. My room was simple and minimalistic, and while not particularly spacious, the air conditioning made a big difference during the warmer days of my stay. What really stood out was the staff: warm, attentive, and consistently helpful. Daily interactions with them were a pleasure. Breakfast was totally adequate, with fresh croissants and made-to-order cappuccinos adding a nice touch to the mornings.

This was a great location for our vacation as it was centrally located to the things we wanted to see and do. We took the train to Venice and once we arrived, we needed to purchase tickets outside by the canal for the water bus. The hotel is on a canal which is lovely but it's not where the boat drops you off. You will need to walk about 10 minutes to the hotel. There is no elevator but the hotel has a lot of charm. The staff was very helpful. The rooms and bathrooms are a bit small but roomier than what we had in Paris. The room was clean when we got there and was cleaned every day we were there. There is water and tea available throughout the day. The breakfast was great! The staff also helped us figure out the Alilaguna boat location and which boat to take to get to the airport (It will take about 1 hour 20 minutes from the dock to the airport.) Overall, a fantastic experience with this hotel!

Charming little property, perfect for a short stay in Venice. Amenities are limited but the location and friendly staff make up for that. There is a lovely breakfast available, and convenient bar for evening drinks on the roof terrace. Thanks for all the help during our stay
