This place was amazing! The staff was very friendly and helpful with whatever you needed! We saw Francesco and Sofia at the front desk the most, and they were always so helpful and easy to talk to! They have bicycles that you can use if you want to explore the small town mestre a lot quicker! I wish we would have known that earlier in our trip, but we never asked until the end. The pool they have is really nice, but it is cold! It felt great while we were there because it was 90 the whole time, but it did shock us the first time we dove in! Breakfast is complimentary and is really good! We had coffee every morning with a nice selection of fruits, veggies, eggs, prosciutto (looks like fat bacon, tastes like ham), pancakes, croissants and more! Carmela was wonderful! We stayed for 2 weeks and had dinner 2 nights there. We had heard it was expensive and the portions were small, and we are budget travelers. The first dinner we had, I got lamb and the spouse got fish and veggies. Both plates had quite a bit of food on them, and we left full. The 2nd time we both got the lamb, and the portions were significantly smaller, and we left still hungry. The rooms are great, but you can hear everything from surrounding rooms. It said check in wasn't until 4, but we got there at noon because of our flight schedule. We were exhausted from flying, and they had a room ready for us, so that was a huge plus! All in all, a wonderful place to stay, and we will probably return next year!
I really enjoyed staying at Hotel Villa Barbarich. The room was nice and clean. Breakfast buffet was great. Staffs were very friendly and helpful.The hotel is close to the airport. They also sell bus/boat tickets at the hotel. My friends and I took the bus to Venice. The bus stop is very close to the hotel. It was convenient. On the last day, we did not have time for breakfast as we had to leave early morning for the airport. The staff offered us a to-go breakfast ready at our checkout time. I was impressed. I would stay here again if I come back to visit Venice in the future.
Our recent stay at Hotel Villa Barbarich was beyond our expectations. The hotel itself a fantastic 16 century mansion remade modern and comfortable. The staff was exceptional in everyway, the Chef a master with a dining room restored to its original beauty. We could not have asked for a better hotel, with free shuttle to Venice the hotel was quiet and set on a beautifully manicured lawn. The staff was there for you and we could see they enjoyed their job and took pride in everything they did. Thank you for everything.
