We have been going to La Calcina for years and have enjoyed each stay. The property has excellent location with fantastic views of the Guidecca canal. We absolutely loved this little gem, just off the beaten path in Venice but still on a canal with spectacular views. A short walk brings you to the thick of things in central Venice, where hotels like this would fetch three times the price. The staff was so welcoming, we didn't want to leave!
