The friendliest 2 ⭐️ that to me deserves 5. All rooms have aircon which is a blessing in the summer. Nothing is too much for the management AND staff. Thanks to the two slim ( hoho sorry boys) gentlemen called Andrea who run it.Scooters and bicycles for hire available at a good price. A short walk to the beach and they have cabins available for a few days on the white sands. Can't wait to return in September. A la prossima. See you soon. GG.
That's what I would describe this as. This place is in a safe residential area and an extremely convenient location on the Lido for the vaporetti to the city and the airport - boats are literally two minutes down the road. Though a little dated, our room was spacious and clean and we had no complaints on that score. Our deal included breakfast, but this consisted of a cup of tea or coffee from the machine, juice the same, and a croissant or bread roll. So, my advice is, do not read 'breakfast included' to mean anything an English tourist might have in mind! But, if you want a decent room at a very good price on the Lido, then this is a great place.
A hearty welcome awaits you here and your wishes are catered for in a nice and kind way. Hotel is not new, but clean and comfortable beds and well equipped bathroom, with soft white towels. My favourite Cafe on the Lido is right round the corner, catering to all your needs from morning till nights, with their homemade cakes and savoury goods. A ten minute walk brings you right on to the beach. Also you find two supermarkets and a clothing store within minutes of the property. The situation is very convenient, only a five minute walk to the VAPORETTO station bringing you into Venice proper or Murano, BURANO or Torcello. I can certainly say, that I will be coming back!
It was a memorable occasion to lodge in your hotel during our holiday visit in Venice. Your experience in the field of hospitality is second to noone ... in fact we were treated like king and queen ... we can never forget your care, your foresightness and your love. All your staff are so wonderful! There is no doubt that each time we think about Venice, we are thinking about your hotel, your wonderful staff and your humble self. Thank you so very much for taking good care of us. We are looking forward to the next holiday when we have a wonderful time in your hotel!
This is a lovely old fashioned hotel. Small details of glass and retro eveywhere. The staff is very friendly and helpfull. And the room is big and clean. Shore, it is a bit run down, but in a charming way, like your grandmothers house, it just makes it more homey. Breakfast is a bit limited, but what is, is better than what i have gotten on three star hotels. So all in all. Price worthy and friendly. I would come back!
Finally, a place with good shower - spacious enough and shower gel smells good (seems good quality). Past places we stayed at, showers were too small. Like a space craft ready to launch lol. Room was spacious enough, did not use AC as we did not need it, opened the windows overnight and it provided a cool breeze. Lift available for those who will need it. Good location, few steps away from restaurants. Close to the beach as well. The 2 guys working were accommodating, even shared songs he was playing at the lobby, we also downloaded it. Passionate about music. Allowed us to keep our luggage and use wifi as we wait for our flight. Even gave us chairs while we wait. We have been moving around Italy and this was the best place we stayed at in Lido. The main disadvantage (or see it as an experience ) is a need riding waterbus to aces Venice area, other than that it's a nice place to stay in quite area.
there some one in the reception who is very helpful but it is narrow , bad air conditioner but good price good accommodation breakfast is little but good very safe near water bus station near bus atation
We really enjoyed our stay here, we were there for a week and it was great to escape to the beach when the weather was hot and to return to the hotel to the air conditioned room, it takes a while to start but there is a ceiling fan that can be used in the meantime. Air conditioning is not a given for all hotels in Venice. Breakfast was good but given our one week stay was rather monotonous. Coffee was excellent. We were there with our 2 year old and they provided a baby bed upon request. Very nice to us in general and the rooms were cleaned everyday and it was a good size room. There are many water buses that goes to the lido but number 6 from Piazzale Roma is the fastest when arriving and leaving. It was easy to visit the other islands as well, Murano, Burano and Torcello. We had a great time and enjoyed the mix of city and beach and all the rides into Venice and around for the never tiring view of the Grand Canal. This is a hotel with old style charm, cute elevator and not your five style sterile hotel, so just know what you are booking and you wouldn't be disappointed. Also there is private beach access! That was really lovely. Thanks for the great stay!
I stayed in Hotel Cristallo in a double room for 8 days. It is a modest hotel, which represents good value but in urgent need of updating including decoration, otherwise rooms are spacious and the hotel location is almost perfect. Air conditioning systems are hardly functioning as they are quite old. Showers are quite small. Room service is good but carpets should be replaced. Sleep quality is good. The hotel staff, particularly Mr. Andrea is friendly and efficient in their jobs with a welcoming attitude. The hotel breakfast is basic. Overall it represents a good value particularly at the high season.
We stayed here for 4 nights and everything was great. Friendly staff, clean spacious rooms and a wonderful location! Continental breakfast offered, dont miss eating out on their patio! It felt like being a guest to the Cristallo family
