Hotel Cristallo2.0 out of 5.0

Yes it's a 2* but very basic and not that clean. I wouldn't say staff were unhelpful just indifferent, didn't make any effort. Breakfast ok, pastries, cereals etc. The twin room we stayed in was at the back of the hotel, the A/C was useless and the room wasn't that clean. The beach is in walking distance and the location is good for restaurants and vaporetto. If I went back to Venice I would not stay at this hotel or even on the Lido. Transport is very expensive and it was difficult to get to and from Treviso airport.
This hotel was a great value! Easy walk to the beach and shuttle to Venice. They accommodated two adults and two children. Plenty of reasonably priced restaurants very close and the kids loved the gelato stand right below our balcony. The staff was friendly and helpful.
We stayed for 3 nights, loved our stay. The staff were friendly and welcoming, the room was clean, bright and the small balcony overlooking the street was great for people watching. Easy walk to the public beach, short bus ride to the private beach with a Cabane with changing room, two chaise, table with two chairs for eating lunch. Simple awesome. Lots of places to dine, gelato shops galore. Easy walk to a supermarket, also a nice fruit and vegetables shop where we got really nice tomatoes, peaches and nectarines.
We, a family of four just left Hotel Cristallo after four days stay. We had one big family room which was good enough as we did not spend that much time in the hotel. Free breakfast was a nice bonus and better than expected. The hotel is located along the main street, just five minutes from vaporetto and the area is filled with nice restaurants. Friendly staff, good value for money of you don't expect luxury.
The friendliest 2 ⭐️ that to me deserves 5. All rooms have aircon which is a blessing in the summer. Nothing is too much for the management AND staff. Thanks to the two slim ( hoho sorry boys) gentlemen called Andrea who run it.Scooters and bicycles for hire available at a good price. A short walk to the beach and they have cabins available for a few days on the white sands. Can't wait to return in September. A la prossima. See you soon. GG.
That's what I would describe this as. This place is in a safe residential area and an extremely convenient location on the Lido for the vaporetti to the city and the airport - boats are literally two minutes down the road. Though a little dated, our room was spacious and clean and we had no complaints on that score. Our deal included breakfast, but this consisted of a cup of tea or coffee from the machine, juice the same, and a croissant or bread roll. So, my advice is, do not read 'breakfast included' to mean anything an English tourist might have in mind! But, if you want a decent room at a very good price on the Lido, then this is a great place.
A hearty welcome awaits you here and your wishes are catered for in a nice and kind way. Hotel is not new, but clean and comfortable beds and well equipped bathroom, with soft white towels. My favourite Cafe on the Lido is right round the corner, catering to all your needs from morning till nights, with their homemade cakes and savoury goods. A ten minute walk brings you right on to the beach. Also you find two supermarkets and a clothing store within minutes of the property. The situation is very convenient, only a five minute walk to the VAPORETTO station bringing you into Venice proper or Murano, BURANO or Torcello. I can certainly say, that I will be coming back!
It was a memorable occasion to lodge in your hotel during our holiday visit in Venice. Your experience in the field of hospitality is second to noone ... in fact we were treated like king and queen ... we can never forget your care, your foresightness and your love. All your staff are so wonderful! There is no doubt that each time we think about Venice, we are thinking about your hotel, your wonderful staff and your humble self. Thank you so very much for taking good care of us. We are looking forward to the next holiday when we have a wonderful time in your hotel!
This is a lovely old fashioned hotel. Small details of glass and retro eveywhere. The staff is very friendly and helpfull. And the room is big and clean. Shore, it is a bit run down, but in a charming way, like your grandmothers house, it just makes it more homey. Breakfast is a bit limited, but what is, is better than what i have gotten on three star hotels. So all in all. Price worthy and friendly. I would come back!
Finally, a place with good shower - spacious enough and shower gel smells good (seems good quality). Past places we stayed at, showers were too small. Like a space craft ready to launch lol. Room was spacious enough, did not use AC as we did not need it, opened the windows overnight and it provided a cool breeze. Lift available for those who will need it. Good location, few steps away from restaurants. Close to the beach as well. The 2 guys working were accommodating, even shared songs he was playing at the lobby, we also downloaded it. Passionate about music. Allowed us to keep our luggage and use wifi as we wait for our flight. Even gave us chairs while we wait. We have been moving around Italy and this was the best place we stayed at in Lido. The main disadvantage (or see it as an experience ) is a need riding waterbus to aces Venice area, other than that it's a nice place to stay in quite area.
