The hotel staff was very accommodating. The breakfast was amazing. Overall, it was a beautiful city, and a great place to come back to after walking around all day. We paid extra for a view of the canal, and it was worth it. There were amazing views from all windows.

I read all the reviews before we made our reservation and also took note of the 2017 best in service award they received from trip advisor. They lived up to all the glowing reviews. So charming and lovely in a perfect location within comfortable walking distance but away from the mobs of people near St Marks square. Gondola stop right in front if the hotel. It was super clean and quiet and excellent breakfast. They made our transfer via water taxi to the airport which was right on time and on our way out she even put together a to go bag of breakfast items without us even asking! Above and beyond!

Wonderful staff, wonderful room, awesome bathroom facilities, great breakfast, incredible location... I have not much to say after this...

WOW IF YOU WANT TO STAY IN VENICE PLEASE I RECOMMEND HOTEL CANAL GRANDE AND ANTIGUE FIGURE. CLOSE TO TRAIN AND BUS AND AWAY FROM NOISE. HIGHLY RECOMMEND...

We chose this hotel for one night post cruise due to convenient location to Marco Polo airport. Upon arrival at 10 am we were greeted by Alessandro and immediately felt as we were longstanding very treasured friends. He welcomed us very warmly immediately assured that the room will be ready by 11am and meanwhile offered either to stay in the hotel or gave us lots of great suggestions for exploring surrounding areas. The room was very beautiful, sparkling clean and the staff was always asking if there was something else we might need. Breakfast was great, service amazing. Would highly recommend . Asya.

This was my first time in Venice and I wasn’t sure about where to stay, whether I was going to run into problems, etc… I have to say that my experience with this hotel was amazing. Great location – it’s very close to all the hot places but it retains its charm & it’s not overwhelmed with tourists. The hotel is right on the Grand Canal with amazing views. The staff was incredibly friendly & trustworthy – they took good care of us and went out of their way to accommodate us. They helped us with directions and answered all of our questions. Breakfast in the morning was great, and the staff prepared fantastic cappuccinos. The rooms were very clean & luxurious. Everything went smoothly with no problems whatsoever. I highly recommend this place; I would absolutely stay there again.

Amazing staff! So friendly and helpful. They arranged for us to have an early breakfast on our checkout day. Their espresso/cappuccino is delicious...some of the best we had in Italy...and they offer great fresh baked pastries, along with meats, cheeses, and fresh fruit and yogurt too. Breakfast was included and enjoyed al fresco but there is a nice dining room too. Room was spacious and very very clean. Beds are firm/hard but we found that in every Italian city visited. We had a room without a view, which was great for sleeping...quiet & dark. Very convenient location for transit. We arrived by train...5 minute walk. We departed by bus to Marco Polo...also 5 minute walk. 20-30 minute walk to Rialto/San Marco. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

The service here is over and above! Excellent! The location is marvelous, close to the train and bridge to cross the grand canal to get to the hotel. Super close to lots of shops and eating but just enough distance to feel like your in a quite residential neighborhood in Venice. The one improvement I would suggest is updating the beds and bedding. Not the greatest. Everything else, loveily~

Bar none, the Best Coffee in Europe -- and oh, by the way, the Customer Service is as good as the coffee. Great location. If you're going to Venice, book this hotel. You won't be disappointed.

It only takes one person to consistently wow you, to make your entire stay shine. The blonde gentleman behind the front desk did just that. The hotel was about 1-2 minutes walk to the train station. I loved the outdoor seating on the canal. I had the privilege of staying in their residential suite down a charming little road, on the side of hotel. This suite, of course was fabulous.

very good location and kind staff canal view is good and They prepared a beakfast early mornig.

The hotel was located right across the train station which made it easier when we arrived in Venice. We carried our luggage over the bridge and arrived at the hotel with the entire day ahead of us to explore the city! At the hotel, we were upgraded to the junior suite which we were excited about, one of the larger rooms we stayed at during our trip to Italy. The WIFI worked great, the breakfast was good with the staff always asking if we wanted coffees or cappuchinos. The staff was very helpful as well.

Friendly staff, good location, just opposite the train station. Good WIFI

very nice hotel, close to everything.this is a small hotel right on the canal, it's fours floors with an elevator. We had a balcony room on the third floor, overlooking the grand Canal and everything that was going on in Venice. The staff is excellent, very courteous very friendly and very helpful. Morning breakfasts consisted of many pastries hard-boiled eggs, juices and coffee. There is also a small bar in the front of the hotel. We really liked our stay there.

Everyone at the hotel was incredibly friendly and helpful. We arrived from a cruise ship at 10 am but they put us in a room right away and insisted we take advantage of the breakfast buffet (very good). Our room (a triple = king) overlooked the Grand Canal. We chose the hotel because it was close to the Pza Roma and we had an early flight the next day. San Marco Square is only a 20 minute walk through a lively shopping & restaurant area. That evening we asked about local restaurants and ended up having a great meal. It was nice to spend some time where the locals hang out and live. The next morning our taxi driver arrived on time and helped us carry our luggage to Pza. Roma. I highly recommend this hotel.

We took three rooms for two nights at the Hotel Antiche Figure, and we are happy we did! The location is just about perfect for exploring Venice. The hotel sits right on the Grand Canal opposite the train depot (Santa Lucia/Ferrovia), a short walk to the bus station (Pizzale Roma), with easy access to the water bus (vaporetto) station at Ferrovia. Walking northeast from the train station into Canareggio puts you into the heart of a vibrant local restaurant/shops/bars district with local fresh produce markets. Or, buy a day pass on the water bus and get anywhere in Venice easily. The rooms were small, as you'd expect in Venice, but clean and well appointed with decent air conditioning. The staff, everyone we met, were fantastic. Helpful and friendly, they really went out of their way to make our stay pleasant. Surprisingly, we even had access to a free wifi internet connection in our rooms. I would absolutely recommend the Hotel Antiche Figure to anyone looking for a nice hotel at a medium price in Venice.

Great bathroom, average bed, nice room overall. The staff is the absolute best! The hotel is literally right across the canal from the train station. That is great if you just have a bag or two. If you have more, find help because it can be a challenge to get your suitcases over the bridge. I will definitely stay here again.

Excellent service. Pre cruise we got upgraded to their 4 star property with a view of the canal; after we got a fantastic room. The people who work there are so pleasant and helpful. Perfect place for people with luggage as it is close to the train station and bus station where the buses drop off from the airport. We would certainly stay again if we ever go back. They have earned their A+ status on tripadvisor for sure.

The hotel was very nice. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The location is good, as it is near the canal and across from the train station, which is very convenient if you plan to travel elsewhere in Italy. Breakfast was nice, you can eat outside right next to the canal. However, I must advise, DO NOT go to the restraunts they recommend. The service in those restraunts is cold and unfriendly and the food is just as bad. The historic Venice is very touristy and it is hard to find good food anywhere, but Ca'Leon that the hotel recommended was probably the worst we tried there.Overall, we were happy with our stay and we would recommend this hotel for anyone planning to visit Venice.

We upgraded to this Canal View room after our host showed us our original selection. It was well worth the additional price.
