We loved this hotel - fabulous old building and our superior quadruple room was the old library which was quite amazing, with 7m high ceilings. Delicious breakfast, great location, friendly staff and good value.

A great stay in Venice but the hotel could do with some renovation. Front desk staff was excellent - quick check-in and very helpful. Room was small for three people and the aircon was hard to adjust. We switched it off in the end as we could not lower the temperature. Breakfast has lots of options but thy are not labelled and scrambled eggs were cold on all days we had breakfast there. Less options would do. Overall a good stay.

Hotel was overall nice. Best location that’s a 5 min walk from the station, about 25 min from San Marco. Great options for food and souvenirs around. Room is a bit roomier than the average Italian hotel, which was nice. The breakfast is great, lots of options with a lot of fresh salads, baked goods and warm foods as well. Surprised to see so much variety. Overall would recommend.

Room was spacious, had loads of character and mini bar was very cheap. I would have liked at kettle and coffee for the morning. Staff were very welcoming and we loved the outdoor space and lounge areas. Breakfast offerings were great with lots of variety. I would suggest maybe using the lounge area for breakfast as well when the hotel is busy as it was tight on space with tables too close together. I wanted a long, relaxing breakfast but didn’t feel comfortable sat so close to others.

I had a hard time staying at this hotel. The room was dark, lighting was poor and the dark dark room walls and furniture didn’t help. The almost not existing space between the bed and windows with the large wooden bed base was bad, the glass floor at the shower felt like a hazard and the non existent A/C forced us to open windows and welcome huge mosquitoes. It was disappointing in every way. The breakfast was not delicious and lacked healthy options. The cappuccino tasted salty. The Wi-Fi was terrible!! Location is perfect but there are plenty other options in the area to choose from

The room was extremely small, did not match the pictures. The bed was super uncomfortable. We asked for a better room and they did not comply. We stayed only 1 night and asked to not charge the 2nd night but they did not agree. We had to book another hotel for that 2nd night so this meant more expenses for us. I do not recommend this hotel at all. It was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in and this was my dream trip planned since March 2025.
