Overall the property is average, but it is a Budget hotel so you have to tone down your expectations. Front office Staff were excellent - I saw 2 managers, both were helpful, forthcoming to resolve issues, give advice / support. It is the Break fast staff, who were very rude and discourteous. The First Day, I went for breakfast at 0930 (after checking the previous day with the Front desk about bfast timings). Both the ladies very rudely signaled with their hands that there is no breakfast. I was surprised and told them the time told to me at check in was 10 am. They flatly refused and indicated time on their mobile and said the restaurant is closed. After, I persisted they allowed me sit (one of them threw up her hands in the air very aggressively) and made some eggs. For the other stuff, I was to fend myself. The ladies had closed off the fruit platters and saw me struggling with the same, but did not come to help. I had to keep going to the kitchen to ask for salt, ketchup and how to operate the hot water dispenser, etc. Really put your mood off. I then complained to the Front officer manager, who came and spoke to the two ladies and one magically now appeared from no where, who looked like being incharge, but was MIA all the time. I even told the Front office manager that I just feel like checking out from this hotel. Except for this incident, the hotel is a decent property, well located, okay cleanliness and sometimes the water just goes off. Management to note please.

The hotel is old. It sometimes had water flow issues. Because the doors are not sealed properly, it is an ant expressway. There were a few spiders and some webs around the room. Overall, it's an average hotel, but the manager is really friendly and helpful. He helped with the scooter rental, train ticket,and laundry service. It can be noisy after the bars close at midnight because of the rowdy party goers. However, the location is really convenient. For these reasons, i would still recommend this property.

There is a bar located near here so it can be a bit noisy at night, but nothing unbearable. Overall, I had a really great experience with the staff and bedroom for the price offered. They were very accommodating with everything. The breakfast is buffet style with you ordering certain items and housekeeping only cleans if you let them know you want it.

Det er en god placering ift. caféer, centralt byliv, aktiviteter med mere. Hotellet havde massere af aktiviteter, samt transport tilgængeligt som de hjalp med at få arrengeret. Dog var personalet ikke særlig imødekommende og man kunne godt få en fornemmelse af at man forstyrrede dem.

The room was clean, comfortable and well designed. There was a hot shower whenever we needed. Comfy bed, we slept well. Good view of the karsts from our balcony. Staff were usually available and very helpful. Good breakfast with selection of buffet and made to order, including fresh coffee and fruits. There were quite a few mosquitoes when we arrived, and gaps around the doors meant that bugs could get in the room. Didn’t find A/c very powerful. Would also have preferred more eco-friendly options eg a filtered water dispenser on each floor rather than small plastic bottles every day.

Really helpful staff

The staff was really helpful with ideas of things to do. They had bikes we could rent onsite. They helped us set up transport to Ventiane. Breakfast was very good. Loved the balcony. The only negative is the late night party bar across the way. Bring ear plugs.

Calm peaceful stay

Great location quiet but not too far from the centre. Basic accommodation but clean and fresh. Staff were really friendly and helpful, nice to have a pool area. Breakfast was very tasty

Loved it!

My expectations were exceeded. Our room had a wonderful view of the mountains. It was clean, spacious and comfortable. The lady at the front desk was friendly, helpful with arranging tours and spoke English well. The pool was nice and well taken care of. The breakfast was free and delicious with eggs done to your liking and several other options presented in buffet fashion. There was also plenty of fresh fruit, juice, coffee and tea. This hotel did not break the bank and more than delivery. It was run by wonderful local people who care about their customer, making one fully immersed in the culture of Vang Vieng. I would love to visit this town again and wouldn’t hesitate to stay at the Jasmine Hotel.

They have a ridiculous no footwear policy but no slippers were provided. Some were still wearing their footwear and thus, so did we. The breakfast spread is pretty bad especially if you don't take meats. Its a pretty basic hotel, nothing fancy. Good location though with peace and quiet.

Très bien, mais un peu vieillissant

L'hôtel est bien situé, l'accueille parfait, le petit déj est copieux et très bon. Cependant l'équipement de l'hôtel (spécialement la salle de bain) est un peu vieillissant et pas assez entretenu. Par exemple, la tablette au dessus de l'évier penche dangereusement et empêche de poser tout objet dessus.
