The staff was so friendly and helpful! We got off our cruise ship around 9 in the morning fully expecting to not be able to check into the hotel for several hours. The front desk staff was able to get us into a room right away. Everyone from the front desk staff to the vallet staff was so friendly. Multiple people gave us tips on where to go to eat and things to do

All was great except some construction going on to the hotel.

Hotel lobby was under construction and there were some makeshift facilities downstairs, but our room was great. We were upgraded to a 27th floor city view which was just gorgeous. Staff was very personable and helpful.

The hotel is undergoing some renovations, but the staff went out of their way to make the stay comfortable. Our room was a large suite, and while some of the furnishings might have been a little outdated, it was all very clean and convenient. The bed and the temperature control were particularly good, and those are things that matter to me. It is a bit of a walk to the convention center, but close to shopping and restaurants and to areas such as Yaletown and Gastown. The people at the front desk made excellent recommendations and helped get reservations.

The location is super convenient, two Starbucks in one block, walking distance to restaurants and shops, and it is safe to walk around at night too. They gave us the premium room which is a newly renovated room on the top level of the building, nice view of the city and the harbor, room is big, modern, and clean. The hotel charges you for domestic phone calls, which I personally find unreasonable for international travelers, especially when my phone calls are not even made through. The hotel is green, which means they only have body wash, shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, and mouth wash on the bathroom counter unless you ask for more. The bathtub and shower appliance aren't the best, what's the point of adjusting the water pressure when it's not strong enough to begin with? Also the tube is too high, it feels like I'm gonna hit my leg every time I step out.

The Westin Grand Hotel is within walking distance of many, if not all, of the districts of Vancouver. The hotel staff were helpful and nice. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. When we return, or when friends book a trip to Vancouver, we will be at the Westin Grand Hotel.

We had so much fun here. The layout of the hotel room was great--as was the little kitchenette, even though we didn't really use it. We used the outdoor, heated pool and hot tub every day. And the hotel was very close to Rogers Arena, which is where we went to a hockey game. I would definitely rebook here.

The hotel is very nice. The staff was excellent. Room service was timely and the good was very good. My only complaints are there were few in room snack options, and limited in room movies to rent. Other than that, everything else was wonderful!

The best choice based on value for your money, if you want to be downtown and not overpay, make sure you check this hotel.

Our Stay was pleasant and comfortable. Central location allowed us to explore the city on foot. Easy access to sky train. We would have prefered to be on a higher floor but our request was not attended to...some minor housekeeping details, replacing sugar, cleaning bar sink area, changing sheets (only once for a five night stay) Also weak internet service.

The hotel staff was really friendly, and the location of the hotel is great! Good downtown location you can walk to mostly everything, shopping, dinning, and fun night life!

We walked around the downtown area, went to the botanical gardens, shopped and had some wonderful food. The only negative is that we feel we were overcharged by the cab driver when he drove us to the port for our cruise. He never turned the meter on and we didn't notice until we were just about at the port.

The hotel is nice. There was nothing that really stood out good or bad, that would be unexpected from a four star hotel. It was loud on NYE but again being close to Granville on the busiest night of the year not unexpected. Would stay there again if the price is right.

This hotel has a great and convenient location on Robson St, and metro station is in walking distance. Besides, the hotel concierge staff are especially helpful and friendly. This hotel is a very good option if you only stay a few nights in Vancouver, for that you need to pay for basically everything in the room from bottled water to the Internet~Overall it was a nice stay.

Best value at comparable price

The best feature of this hotel is it's location! The room was spacious (I got an upgrade) and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The only detractor was that there was only one mirror in the room and it was located in the bathroom, which made getting ready for the evening more difficult.

In and out quick trip, would stay again for sure

The hotel was great. We had a corner suite, which was spacious and perfect for our family of 5. The service was excellent and the location very convenient to public transport. The hotel is located on the eastern side of downtown, so it's not in the upscale "west end" part, but there were tons of reasonably priced restaurants, pubs, and even a grocery store all within just a couple of blocks of the hotel, which was great. The suites all have a mini-kitchen (no stove, but there was an oven, microwave, toaster, & dishwasher) which made breakfast and late night snacks easy.

The hotel is situated a great location, just blocks from Yaletown, Robson Street, waterfront (including the Olympic improvements), and Davie Street. It's not too far from the freeways and we parked in the hotel and drove to Commercial Drive and Richmond.

Most friendly people, very, very helpful. Room was spotless, quiet. Nice to have kitchenette. The bellmen were especially helpful. A concierge, Meaghean, was terrific. great location. A very good experience.A mirror or two could easily be added to the bedroom.
