This hotel is not in downtown Vancouver but it is walking distance to the train, and walking distance to Granville Island which is very convenient, lots of restaurants and shops. It is not a luxury hotel but rooms are clean and staff service good. Taxis are always available but there is also a bus stop right in front of the hotel.

We had read reports that the hotel was noisy but we didn't realize that the front is on a busy street and the rear faces several hospitals - one of which has a helipad. In addition, the other guests were very noisy in the halls and in their rooms. It had an atmosphere more like a college dorm. We found that running the fan in the ventilation unit drowned out most of the exterior noises. The staff was nice and the cleaning staff was really polite but they vacuumed the halls starting at about 8AM, which seemed odd. The room was clean. The beds were clean but not luxurious. The noise was just tolerable. We did not eat in the restaurant. Most of the other patrons appeared to be patients or families of patients or maybe young travellers.

We had already spent a week in a condo in Olympic Village so we chose a different location for a few more days. We enjoyed Vancouver very much. We enjoy walking and enjoying the everyday activities of cities to which we travel. This hotel is more isolated but still connected to public transport. The staff was very helpful about directions. The hotel was clean and had plenty of amenities.

I liked the mini fridge in room so I could have some food at my leisure, but unfortunately one of the 2 elevators broke down and was unavailable for most of my stay since I was there over a long weekend. That was annoying since it was a busy time for the hotel. I loved that there were lots and lots of outlets in the room, so it wasn't too much of a problem that several didn't work. Overall nice hotel and convenient to many restaurants an shops as well as the hospital.

The hotel staff was awesome. The hotel is in very good condition however, its location on Broadway (we were on 3rd floor) made for a noisy night, even with the windows closed. There is simply too much pedestrian and car traffic late into the night on Broadway. The room was very clean and exercise room excellent and the staff was top rate.

Great place to stay, great staff, very eager to help with questions, great experience women's World Cup,received great tip on Chinese resturaunt within walking distance, so good actually ate there twice. Found a great place for Sunday Mass at the Ukranian Catholic Church again within walking distance.

Stayed in this hotel as it was close to VGH. The check in experience was quick. Had a great view of downtown Vancouver from my room. The room itself was very clean and the bed quite comfy. Was also surprisingly quiet due to the fact that the hotel is located near a busy street and hospital. Would definitely recommend this hotel )

Easy place to stay. Nice views with a balcony. Take the SkyTrain downtown. Robes in the closet. Would recommend again, no sweat.

The staff at this hotel was probably its biggest selling point. Other pros would be that it is pet friendly and there is a drug store and coffee shop directly across the street. The beds are very comfortable but the double room isn't exactly spacious. The water pressure of he shower was crazy powerful, the TV reception was poor at times and the elevator went down for a few hours while we stayed. Also, if your going for an extended amount of time there is a $16/day charge for parking which could add up.

For the location, price, and quality, this is a great hotel. The lobby and elevator were under construction so I can't really comment on that - they seemed fairly average. However, the actual rooms were great, with modern detailing in the room and bathroom, comfortable beds, and all of the standard amenities including fridge, coffee, tea, hair dryer, etc. I'd definitely stay here again. I'm rating it 4 stars simply because I know you can stay in much fancier hotels, but again, this is a great value.

This is a clean urban hotel that was well located for the three events I had to attend in Vancouver, all in different parts of the city. The hotel seemed centrally located. The staff was helpful and intelligent. I had several problems which I needed their help on and they came through. The price was right, the room was clean and comfortable and quiet, the hotel was well located (if you have a car) and the staff was helpful, so...it was all fine. I didn't use any amenities or room service.

Our stay at the Park was perfect. The staff were friendly, the room clean and comfortable, and close to the hospital. We were also offered a free room upgrade with a view.

For half the price of the city center hotels and the very best views of downtown and the mountains, Park Inn is always my choice when visiting Vancouver. Great restaurants within walking distance, and several public transportation options nearby make this the perfect location. Did I mention the views? Spend the extra money for the vista view option (generally 5-10 dollars extra).

Very convenience location. The shower was really comfy, it was the strongest amongst all the hotel I stayed before.

Handy to Canada rail line/YVR. Next to Vancouver General Hospital. Lots of restaurants nearby. Good value 3 star.

I was there on a business trip and overall I think it was a satisfactory stay. Its a little too expensive for the room quality, but I think overall if I have a good shower, clean bathroom and good bed, I am content :)

I stay at this hotel whenever I am in town. The location is outstanding, and the hotel is generally ok. However, there has been a continous decline of the hotel where it has gone from a Boutique Hotel to a Best Western, and now down to a Motel 6. The beds are still clean, but the hotel has clearly worn down and not repaired. The clientele has also gone down a little, when I was there there was more sports fans, and intimadating people with Tatoos and no shirts walking about the place. This place should either shape up, or reduce its rate significantly.

The hotel was fine for our purpose. What we liked: good location, clean, updated room, great bed and duvet, window that opened, wi-fi in room. Despite our window facing the hospital, the room was not too noisy and fine for sleeping. What I didn't like: The room was too small for 2 double beds and as a result things were tight and we felt somewhat cramped. One queen or king bed would have been better. Very small, cramped lobby/entrance. From the parking area, you had to walk back to the main entrance in order to access the elevator to your room. Though the walk was short, it could have been problematic given that you had to walk in the lane(s) that cars were entering/departing. Our rate didn't include the parking or breakfast. As we had just spent 7 weeks in the U.S., we got used to having both included in our very reasonable hotel rates.

i travelled for business in the area. The rooms were very clean, the cleaning staff were friendly but the desk staff were not so much. This is not a fancy hotel, the gym has 3 pieces of equipment only, fair sized room with fridge and microwave. Would not recommend the hotel restaurant!!! Lots of good dining options near by. Very good price for overall value.

The room was exactly as stated. King size bed and a desk. The desk drawer would not stay closed, but it was a desk. The view was of the back parking lot and the dumpster. I went to dinner at the restaurant and was promptly told by the hurried. waiter that he was the only person there...doing room service as well as waiting tables. Every person that walked in was told the same story...quite loudly...but you know, "he gets up at 4:30 in the morning and works two jobs because he pays $900 per month for a 400ft apartment downtown. The next morning as I went to dry my hair, the cover fell off of the dryer, exposing the fan waiting to snap off my fingertips. Attempts to glue it back were clearly shown. Location was terrible. Well away from downtown. Overall not a good experience.

We sincerely appreciate your comment regarding the 8 am hall vacuuming as this is not our policy; our policy is 9 am to commence this task. You may have stayed with us when we had an International University research group staying with us as we are the closest hotel to UBC. We do hope to serve you again one day and thank you for taking the time to provide feedback. Sincerely, D. Tooley, Director of Sales

Dear Mig, Thank you for your review. We`re glad you enjoyed your stay and the area. Unfortunately we are on a busy street and near a major hospital so noise can be an issue. I recommend a room on the back of the hotel as they tend to be quieter. Jill
