First time to Vancouver. I was blown away by the how helpful the staff treated us. Great location, close to fashion stores, parks, restaurants. Fabulous city view from our room.

Moved to a different hotel because we felt gross just being in the room. The bed was old and very uncomfortable. The room was old, never updated/remodeled and the deck was gross and old and dirty. We cancelled our reservation asap and left the hotel. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone.

very enjoyable experience. Walkable to Granville Island ferry , cruise ship just a short cab ride away and Robson street is most enjoyable.

Average, the view was amazing but room was ok. Room is outdated, wish they would renovate it. Parking can be improved.

The hotel was older and dated, but a perfect location to explore Vancouver.

The hotel was in a great location. All of Downtown Vancouver was in walking distance and destination places such as the Sea to Sky Gondola, Capliano Suspension Bridge, Cypress Mountain, Airport, Van Dusen Botanical Gardens were accessible cost effectively through a cab/ event provided shuttle. I stayed on the 30th floor and had an amazing view of the downtown. The hotel does not provided a shuttle or continental breakfast. The associates were extremely helpful.

Short sheet did not cover end of bed. Did not refresh coffee or shampoo.

The location was excellent, and for the most part the staff were nice and helpful. The only thing is that they placed us in a room right next to some sort of mechanical room or something, and all night, I kept getting awaken by the loud sound of what seems to be copper water pipes. Otherwise it was pretty good, but the noise was certainly a major issue.

i left my iPad in the room after check out , left the country call back to the hotel household service, they found my iPad and send it back to the state for me.

We had a great stay and found the hotel clean, comfortable and a good price. Earlier reviews stated it was outdated but we did not. The location is perfect in the West End and close to everything. Highly recommended.

The hotel is very old and dated. It was adequate for what we needed and we liked that it was convenient to everything. The interior needs upgrading and just some overall cleanliness steps taken. (scuffs on walls and doors) Overall "old" appearance in the hallways where the rooms are and inside the rooms. The internet connection is marginal at best. The staff was helpful but not much. Its not the hospitality you would expect in most hotels in the US for the same price. They also charge about $13 per day to park in their parking garage.

The hotel has seen better days, The room was comfortable, but furnishings were old (dresser, bathroom, table, headboard). One visible outlet and it was being used for the table light and refrigerator. Windows had not been cleaned in sometime. Staff was very helpful and informative. Most would expect more for the price.

Arrived to the hotel from Seattle around 3:00pm.The parking was easy, the checking was smooth, the hotel staff we're welcoming, pleasant and informative. We loved the restaurant in the 42th floor. The view from our balcony was breath taking. We absolutely go back again.

The only bad thing is that PARKING is NOT INCLUDED. You have to pay 18 CANADIAN dollars to use the parking structure. Other than that, this is a great hotel. I have been twice and will be back soon. Robson street is fantastic.

Easy to get around smelled musty. Very small. Dusty room

The hotel is in bad need of updating. Elevators from the parking area gave us the impression we were in an old warehouse. The strike plate on the door into our room was very loose and I'm sure that if someone trying to get in were to give the door a good push, the door would have opened easily. Because of that, every time we would leave and come back, I wondered if all of our belongings would still be there. The wind came up the last night we were there and that cause the sliding door to the balcony to clatter all night. In spite of all this, I'd stay there again. It is in a great location and is a great value. We were able to walk to several of our destinations very easily.

Been to the area a few years ago and wanted to come back with wife. Parking lot was confusing and ended up paying twice because of signage. The bathroom tub was dirty and the pipes would shake in the middle of the night from rooms near us taking late night showers. The lobby smelled funny and the room had a single available wall charger. There was no internet available when we went.

The room was ready upon arrival but would have preferred a queen bed instead of two beds the room is a bit small. Staff were very professional and helpful. There was too much noise from other guests. Who needs to slam the door to make sure it is closed? Also didn't need to hear the argument next door. I guess more divorce lawyers will be getting rich.

I liked that I could have my bike in the room (some other hotels don't allow that) and after check-out they stored it in a separate controlled room (I was gonna be in town for a few more hours). Check-in & out was quick and painless. Wi-Fi was above average from most hotels. Great location minutes away walk from places to eat/coffee/gelato!

This hotel is a real value. Located right near shopping on Robson street and the waterfront. The place is a little dated in appearance and some maintenance is required, but it was clean and had good WiFi.
