Days Inn - Vancouver Metro

This is the cleanest, most reasonably priced hotel in Vancouver without having to cross the bridge and fight the downtown traffic. They also have a nice breakfast room with boiled eggs, hot and cold cereals, pastries, bagels and toast, and fruit. I always request a room that is not next to the main road which is called Kingsway.

Hotel is situated nicely close to downtown convention center area a few miles away. Rooms are hardwood floored, and actually quite nice for Days In. But was disappointed in front desk service. I originally had 2 night booked, then decided to come into town early and I added a 3rd night the day before my original 2 nights. I check in on the first night, letting the front desk know I had an additional 2 nights on another reservations. He said no problem come to the desk tomorrow morning and the will take care of it. Next morning, I get to the front desk and he tells me I need to move all my stuff out of the room, and I will need to check in again in the afternoon to another room. WHAT? That makes no sense? His reason was my current room was already booked with some incoming big group reservation. Irregardless, why didn't they put me into a room that I could stay in for three days, and just blend in both of the reservations? So I had to rush, and clean out my room put everything back in my car, and rush off to my conference barely making it on time. I get it stuff happens, but a little foresight and customer service would have been nice. But what do you expect for $50 a night on a deal right?

Front desk staff was welcoming, neighborhood growing Asian community, McDonald's next door, great food at cafe across the street. Only neg is stairs, no hand rails, not handicap accessible. Would go back!

We needed a two night stay with our 3 year old so the fact McDonald's is right next door was great. The continental breakfast was ok too. My only complaint is that the bed was not comfortable, but I'm also an older mom that is used to a sleep number bed. My oldest daughter, 19 slept just fine. We would choose this location again.

Bad smell in the room, noisy, room and curtains not clean enough.

Food Was really bad and breakfast buffet Was only until 9:30 and that is too early for some people!!!

Nice, clean hotel, great location, 15 minutes to downtown, several small parks nearby ( about 5-7 minutes). A lot of good restaurants around

Room is clean and comfortable. Very helpful and friendly staff. Many restaurants within walk-in distance. Overall excellent value.

Just wanted something small with a bed and tv and mini fridge with continental breakfast and that was what I got. Everything I needed for my trip. Thank you!

There was a very strong clorox smell in the bathroom emanating into the room. There was no elevator. The second story walkway- exterior was sloping. The steps were very steep. Some older people had great difficulty walking down the steps to the breakfast room. It is an older hotel. Staff were very friendly. Room was comfortable. Breakfast was very good.

Wireless just doesn't work. It is there for 30 secs, then gone. Maybe it is because they gave me their farthest room from the lobby. Also the the room has a humid smell.

While it is an older hotel, it is clean and well maintained. In all fairness, most buildings in this area are older. For my money I got a comfortable bed to sleep in and a nice hot shower. There was not much to the free continental breakfast so I opted to skip. The only other complaints I had were that the AC struggled to keep up so the room was barely cool and the free Wifi was spotty and inconsistent.

Easy to get to,although you have to turn left on Victoria to access traveling south on Kingsway and enter from thi back. Staff friendly and helpful. With window fan on no noise from outside.

As usual a nice stay close to food, public transportationand comfortable room

Job well done good location close to public transport

Staff are incredible location was perfect parking was good and quick breakfast was awesome for the price we had.

Good breakfast. Informative staff during the first shift. Very good retaurants close by. Easy driving in and out of city. Perfect weather.

The hall ways (which are outside) was super noisy when anyone walked by. Clean rooms, but kind of funky & old. Decent, but I wouldn't be excited to stay there again. In the part of Vancouver, called, "Little Saigon". It was fine in a pinch, but I wouldn't be excited to go back.

Stayed at this hotel for three nights. The bed was very comfortable. They put out a real nice breakfast. The location is a bit busy, when you step outside the lobby your faced with five lanes of traffic zipping by. Pretty quiet in the room though. Wireless internet worked well. Good value for the area and fairly close to downtown and the Skytrain.

Very enjoyable. Staff was great, good continental breadfast. Room confy and able to control the temp as needed, would stay there again
