Please DO NOT stay at this hotel ... is it located on the worst side of Downtown Vancouver ... homeless everywhere !! Do Not waste your money at this hotel !

Poor location. There are homeless folks and druggies all over the place

I liked how old and solid the building is. On the other hand it smells older too

It was right next to tent city of Vancouver, so a lot of cracked out buggy eyed characters outside. That didn’t bother me too much, it was more that about 1 in 5 cars I saw parked on the block had busted out windows. The concierge at the hotel warned us of this and recommended bringing any and all things of value inside. So to start off. Not a good location on the east side. As far as the room, it was pretty clean Besides the old carpet flooring that felt like a crime to walk barefoot on, had the things you needed otherwise. The beds were all spring but okay. They need to get new pillows here though. My pillow felt like a pillow case stuffed with laundry, just lumpy and unforgiving. I could here hotel guest having sex above us while listening to tweakers screaming at each other outside. Needless to say, I got this place because I figured it’s just for sleeping, but I could barely sleep, maybe 4 hours? Checked out 5 hours before check out time because I was over it. The people who work here are really sweet though. They just need new carpets, beds, pillows, flooring, door keyless entry, new elevator, controlled heating, and new decorative pillows.

The Hotel Patricia, built in 1913, has seen its best days. However, it is quaint, charming, and extremely well-priced for one or two nights.

Very basic old hotel that is like stepping back in time. Fulfilled the function of giving me a cheap place to stay that was near the Pacific Central Railway Station. Room was clean and bed was comfortable, but homeless people line the street, and has limited facilities. Did not try the Brew Pub or restaurant so cannot comment on that.

This place is in a terrible neighborhood. Drugged out people are lined up in the streets. People screaming outside all night long. Carpet on the floor was dirty. Wifi hardly worked. Elevator is dangerous, it abruptly stops. Doesn’t stop flush with the floor.

Feel property was very misrepresented by Orbitz with the picture used and the way it is described. When we arrived we were sent to our room. We literally could hardly fit our luggage in it. The bathroom was literally in the closet, which had a bifold door. Very bad area of Vancouver. There was a guy outside the hotel door smoking marijuana. We were given a paper to put in our car window stating that we had removed all valuables that it is not worth braking into. No joke. While we were at the desk demanding a refund and leaving, there were 2 other families addressing the same issues. This is an old run down building trying to make it. The manager was polite and handled the situation professionally so I don’t want to knock her. I have not seen a charge on my card yet so I think she is honouring our request. So I appreciate that. My biggest complaint is the picture shown on orbitz is very very misleading based upon what we were given. Personally look for hotels on another site. Don’t use orbitz

To get a new experience it was fine. Near Chinatown and short distance from cruise ships. Everyone very helpful.

Poor area, full of homeless. Very old facility, small room with mo Ac, no hot water between 11am and 5:30pm. Room has nothing beside a small tv. Not recommended.

They have bed bugs. I got all bit including my face. Terrible. This hotel must be shut down. The streetis full of prostitutes day and night. There must be a standard to be held for hotels. This one falls really down. I also paid for parking for 2 nights and get a ticket! Amazing!!

The room was relatively clean. The location is really horrible!! I didn't know that, but we booked only for one night before. I thought, it's okay for one night. A stranger tried to get into our room and HIS key matched OUR room!! Thank God I locked the door with the chain, otherwise he would have come in! That is not how it works! I even had a nightmare about this and the location. Too bad, it was definitely a nice hotel in the early years, but now the street is full of drug addicts and homeless people of the worst.

The building itself is old but reasonably maintained. The carpet is a little worn, but clearly vacuumed, etc. This is a great *room* for the price. The neighborhood isn't good. I had my car window smashed even though there was *nothing* in the car. (I know better than to leave things in a car.)

I should look for another hotel somewhere else far from the downtown or old Chinatown area. It was one of disappointed experience I have.

The staff was very helpful, and nice. The room was very small, but it worked for one night. The area is not good. There are a lot of homeless , and addicts very close by, but they never gave us any problem.

Walking distance to Gas Town. Bus service is good. I parked my car to load baggage. A strange woman opened the car door and got in. I told her I wasn’t doing business this trip and she went away.

Hotel staff were cordial . The location was good. But the rooms have no resemblance to those provided in the advertisement. The rooms were so congested with a small window which was about a feet from the next building. TV had just 12 channels. There is no AC and the table fan was pretty noisy

Grand old place with character and charm although a little creaky with its age.
