Our return visit this year and a great time was had. Arrived to see beautiful lights lit up and a Christmas tree in the house. Our host ensured all our needs were taken care of including additional platters, etc for our home away from home Christmas dinner!Spacious and very welcoming, our family truly enjoyed all the amenities offered.Thank you Val, we had a wonderful time at your place. An incredible place, The Birdsnest! Walked into an arrangement of beautiful flowers, a bowl of fresh fruits and two bottles of wine to welcome us. Amenities were wonderful with everything at our fingertips. Spacious and very clean, our stay was extremely comfortable and very enjoyable. Quiet neighbourhood, rooftop with a fabulous view, cupboards full of food and a great supply of extras. Our host was very hospitable providing an exceptional experience for our family, thank you.Looking forward to our return visit!

The Birdsnest is terrific! I can’t say enough wonderful things about the Birdsnest. It has everything you need. Great location, cleanliness, view of the mountains & an awesome host. Val gave us great recommendations for restaurants, places to go. If you need anything he is just a phone call away & very responsive. The kitchen has all you need for preparing food or just enjoying a morning coffee/tea on your patio. If you’re staying with children a park is just across the street. 5 stars for Birdsnest & Val our host.We didn’t rent a car using Uber was fast & easy. This was our annual girls trip & we are so glad that we stayed at Birdsnest. We would definitely go back. Val, thanks again for making our vacation special. Birdsnest delight! We couldnt have asked for a better vacation. Our family of four with two teenage boys had an incredible time. Val was a great host. From the moment we arrived he made us feel welcome. I was blown away at every little detail. The place was everything we could've imagined and more. The view out on the patio was incredible, beds were super comfy and had everything we needed and more. Val gave us some great suggestions on places to see and eat. We made some wonderful memories that we'll never forget. Thanks so much Val for making our stay comfortable and enjoyable.

Amazing stay at the BirdsNest

This was the best stay we have ever had with an owner. Val was great and showed us everything about the place. He even gave us lots of tips about local restaurants and things to do. The place is very spacious and well decorated. We loved going onto the rooftop patio and enjoying the views. Val also has a great selection of items stocked in the place for coffees, waters, even cereal and fruit. The location is great. The street is quiet and there are running trails close by. It is close to Knight street so you can get just about anywhere fairly quickly.We will definitely stay there again when we are in Vancouver again.

A wonderful week!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Val’s home — hands down one of the best VRBO experiences we’ve ever had. From the moment we arrived, Val’s hospitality stood out. He was incredibly warm, welcoming, and flexible with our schedule especially when we had to extend unexpectedly, which made the entire check-in process smooth and stress-free.The house itself is stunning — modern, impeccably clean, and beautifully designed with thoughtful touches throughout. Everything felt brand new and high quality, from the furnishings to the finishes. And the sauna! The kitchen was completely stocked with everything we needed and more — not just cookware and utensils, but also a generous selection of food, wine, fruit, coffee, breakfast items, and even toiletries and menstrual products (so thoughtful!!!). It felt more like staying at a boutique hotel than a vacation rental.The patio was a highlight — spacious and perfect for enjoying a morning coffee or an evening glass of wine. It quickly became our favorite spot to relax.Location-wise, you couldn’t ask for more. The home is situated right next to a lovely park, which was ideal for the kids, and just a short walk to fantastic restaurants along Victoria Drive and Knight Street. We loved exploring the neighborhood on foot and appreciated how peaceful yet central it was.Val was a fantastic host — responsive, accommodating, and genuinely thoughtful. He went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, and it truly made our trip special.

Best owner I've ever worked with

Val was amazing, such a super sweet person! We were in Vancouver for Taylor Swift with my 16 yo daughter and the day we arrived he had 13 red roses on arrival! So thoughtful! The place was decorated so well with so many details! Fresh fruit, snacks, bottles of red and white for mom and dad! Val really thought of everything! He provided fresh slippers and robes. The place was immaculate. The coffee setup was perfect. We literally didn't have to go to the grocery store for anything! Val provided everything we needed for our stay. Truly the most thoughtful owner I've ever worked with and I've stayed at a lot of VRBOs. Highly recommend choosing this VRBO in Vancouver for your stay!

Perfect spot for out stay!

Property is very clean and well maintained. Extremely well appointed with lots of thoughtful details. Val is an awesome host. Communication is very easy and timely. He even provided ice packs for my husband when he had issues with his knee. Location was perfect for the places we wanted to visit. We would happily stay here again

Loved this place!

The place was exactly as listed. The beds, sheets and towels were high quality. The unit was clean and so well stocked! It was so nice having such a nice kitchen, we ended up cooking more than we thought we would. The host was so nice and easy to communicate with.

Honestly one of the best!

Location was lovely the place its self was fantastic. Clean, tidy and every amenity you could think of. Val was amazing even needed a printer when we were leaving and he got us one straight away. We will be back to Vancouver and will book again. Thank you so much
