After a long day of driving we just wanted a quiet place with a nice room. This is it. Would stay again as James obviously takes great pride in what his place looks like and to keep his visitors happy and to have a good sleep. Just far enough off the main highway as to diminish the noise.

McBride is a pleasant and quiet stopover before one hits lots of tourism traffic heading south. The Bell Mountain Motel is one of three in the village, and offers inexpensive and well-run accommodation. We had a restful night here before hitting the road through Mount Robson Park and the Ice-fields Parkway!

We stop at Bell Mountain on our way to Dome Creek, as it gives us a break. Wouldn't stay anywhere else - clean rooms, quiet and very personal owners . Like the location, off the main road so one can take advantage of the location to relax. Lots of parking . Thank you Lynn and James - - you have a class act !

Loved the peaceful location. So quiet. Loved the option of chairs outside where one could sit in the evening. Room was clean & warm. Bathroom was small, but clean. Room had a small kitchenette. We didnt use it this time, but handy to know about for a future stay. Not luxurious, but beds were comfortable. Instead of brick wall for view out backyard, we actually had a backyard of green lawn & trees to see. A nice change. Close to gas, restaurant & convenient store as well. Look forward to staying here again.

We stayed in Mcbride for one night just as a break from driving. The rooms are basic and dated but a comfortable place to rest your head. The owners are working on updating the rooms so there are still some nice features. James, one of the owners, is one the the sweetest most genuine people we've met on our trip. He was so personable, shared stories, and overall made us feel welcome. You can't put a price on that. A quirk to this motel is the cat, Belle! She was a stray that the owners adopted when they bought the motel. She wandered up to us and was a welcoming presence.

Arrived without a reservation in the evening. Went to a different accomodation, which was full and they recommended the Bell. Basic but clean is what they said and that is exactly what we got. Our room included the usual coffee/tea options and a refrigerator. The furnishings and bathroom were in good repair and may be recent, but aren't overly fancy. The cost was reasonable given the vacancy rate (we got the last room). It is very convenient from the highway without being affected by traffic noise. We could walk to the nearby restraunt. They provide horseshoes for tossing and the landscaping is attractive. I never noticed any noise from our neighbours except when unloading their vehicles. I would go there again. I noted that some units had full kitchens. Free Wifi, but it took me multiple attempts to get on.

So we stayed for three days in June - my apologies for the lateness of this review but we were recently caught up with the wildfires. The motel is off the highway and therefore away from the traffic noise. The rooms are deep and very spacious, with a good sized bathroom and handy kitchenette. The owners were very friendly and proud of their town and their local knowledge is second to none for things to do especially off the beaten track. McBride attracts many one night stop overs from people travelling from the west towards Alberta, but we would strongly suggest people should stay longer and stay at this motel and enjoy friendly McBride and it's beautiful scenery.

Stayed here with the family while travelling to the south ok. Older motel, with drive up to your door parking. When I say dates.. .I mean the sink is in the bedroom The bathrooms are slim just enough room for the tun and toilet. All that being said... the owners are great and the beds are spotless... no bugs. They have updated some rooms. Worth staying here again as it's a block in off the hwy.

Its hard to see the Bell from the main road but we swing past and I liked the ground floor rooms, the quaint outside and it didn't look like just another box. The owner was super friendly and the price was good. The room was surprisingly large w 2 queens, fridge, microwave, dish cleaning supplies, tv and nicely supplied bathroom. I didn't want to go to yet another generic box hotel and super glad to take a chance on a smaller, more personal place. I will definately stay here again.

Nice spot with comfortable bed and everything you need for a nice stay. Was so nice after a long day on the bike. Nice to park outside our room. Host was very nice and we even had a little kitchen, rooms were roomy
