We only search for places that were non-smoking. I am very sensitive to smoke, have children, and would never choose a smoky place. Upon opening the door to our assigned unit, it just reeks of smoke! I immediately called to the front desk, and he looked for a place to move us. Unfortunately, there’s nothing available to move us to tonight. He admitted the place smells like smoke and knew exactly what I was talking about. He said the guy that lived here the past smoked. The same furniture, paint, and carpet is still the same. It should not be advertised as a non smoking unit in this condition. If you’re sensitive to smoke, definitely avoid B 32! What a rough start to our family vacation. Not what we signed up for. Disappointed.

This is our go to place for Vail. Condos are well kept and clean with all the amenities including a great outdoor hot tub and pool. They are also walking distance to the slopes and town with free lockers for your skis near the slope. Highly recommended!

I just booked my 4th visit at this facility! I cannot praise it enough. All 3 units I have stayed in were excellent and I have no doubt my next visit will be just the same. The units are fully stocked with everything you can think of. But the best thing about it: the views! Wake up each morning with sunny mountain views while you enjoy your breakfast. Then a short walk (10min) to the Gondola and off you go for a full day of skiing. Coming back, you can store your skis in a locker right by the gondola and walk back to your facility and enjoy the Whirlpools and heated swimming pool! This is a fantastic place and the 10min walk will save you lots of money! I highly recommend this place!

We were very happy with our stay in 33A at Sun Vail. The furnishings are beautiful and welcoming. We plan on staying in the same unit this winter. This location is highly recommended, as the lifts are easily accessible via a pedestrian bridge and a short walk through the village. We also greatly appreciated the beautiful view from the pool and hot tubs after a long day of skiing.

I booked my February trip to Sun Vail last week. I contacted Sun Vail directly. Diane directed me through the process explaining everything with ease. If my trip is as good as the process to book it I will be very pleased.

Sun Vail is located just across the highway from the Lionshead lifts. It is an easy walk across the bridge and storage is provided for your skis and boots at Vail Tech. Vail Tech is an excellent small ski shop and can take care of all of your needs from tuning to rental to sales. The condos are all well equipped with comfortable beds and nice kitchens. The office staff is friendly and accommodating. The two hot tubs and outdoor pool are first rate. All of this is why we have been staying there every winter for the past 10 years!

We stayed at Sun Vail in several oportunities, sometimes being a numerous group and other times being just two or three. Far more better than any other hotel room. The condos are in perfect conditions, and are cozy and comfortable. The walking bridge guarantees a great walking distance from the village also.

Such easy access to Vail Mountain Resort! We even walked over one day with skis and snowboards! The condo was lovely and very well equipped, as we cooked in two out of the four nights we were visiting. I loved having a bathroom in the master bedroom and the additional bathroom was plenty big for two young adult males. We will be booking again!

We loved the condo at Sun Vail, the condo unit was very spacious and clean. We would go back there without hesitation. As far as location that was also perfect. We didn't need a car. it was a short walk to the slopes and restaurants. The condo also provided ski storage near the lifts so it was nice not having to carry our equipment back and forth. i highly recommend Sun Vail condos. Nick K

We almost spent a fortune on a hotel room but found Sunvail and were very pleased. It was the perfect location for 3 adults and a 5 year old. Enough space to relax in the evening and a well appointed kitchen (and grill) and dining area to allow us to cook and avoid restaurant crowds. The pool and hottubs were our first stop in the late afternoon. Both well maintained. Great views of slopes from the balcony. My son loved the playground next door and the one over the footbridge. He had no problems walking to and from the ski locker (in his slip on shoes) which is just over the footbridge. The unit had plenty of towels and sheets and cleaning supplies. The in unit washer and dryer was super handy. We will definitely book here again.
