Encantadora casa de campo Ducado Uzès

Enamorados de esta maravillosa ciudad de arte e historia, los propietarios decidieron renovar un antiguo redil en medio de un olivar ubicado en la misma comunidad de Uzès.

El gran terreno de 3200 m² les permitió construir una casa independiente en harmonía con su ambiente y una gran piscina rodeada de adelfas rosas y lavanda.

La casa tiene una superficie total de 60 m², incluye una sala de estar, un área de comedor, una cocina abierta totalmente equipada y 2 habitaciones cada una con su propio cuarto de baño con sanitario.
Para dormir:
1 cama de 160 x 200,
1 cama de 160 x 200, o 2 camas de 80 x 200,
La terraza privada de 30 m² está abierta al verdor de los olivos.
La concepción ecológica permite mantener una temperatura de entre 6 y 8° con respecto al exterior sin recurrir al aire acondicionado.


La gran piscina orientada al sur, de 13 x 6, m, posee grandes playas. Su exposición al sol durante todo el día permite su apertura, generalmente, en la segunda quincena de mayo hasta final de septiembre. Para compartir con los propietarios .

El centro de la ciudad se encuentra a 15 minutos a pie a través de un agradable camino campestre. 4 minutos en coche.

Absolutely ideal vacation place .. comfortable house and terrace with an amazing pool. Hosts are lovely to deal with. Great situation for Uzes town on foot ;area is very accessible for visiting local attractions such as Nimes ,Pont du Gard , Avignon. Thoroughly recommend this place.

The cottage was comfortable and pool was a hit with our kids. Enough privacy that you feel "in the country" but you can walk to a decent bakery in 5 minutes or to central Uzes in 15 minutes on a pretty little trail full of butterflies.

Comfortable Cottage-Good Location

Would recommend this property for a visit to Uzes and surrounding areas. Very nice and responsive owner of property; beautiful, private, safe setting close to Uzès; comfortable beds and sofa; plenty of kitchen amenities, (though we didn’t cook while there); nice patio area. Was cold and windy during our stay, so weren’t able to use outside facilities, but we could see the owners take good care of it.

Charming and comfort

Lovely pool much needed to escape the heat. Charming and comfy cottage on the grounds of owners home. You share the pool with the family. They are polite but it isn’t private. This is clear on the listings. The town of Uzes is lovely and pont du gare is close. The house is well situated to the main road into Uzes.

A very pleasant cottage on the edge of the beautiful city of Uzès

We spent two weeks in this comfortable cottage. The owner Gerald welcomed us and made us feel immediately at home, he was always willing to help when asked but was careful to give us our privacy as well. The house has everything we needed for a two week stay and offers a lovely swimming pool to cool down in at the end of some very hot days. It is a short walk into Uzès, which is a beautiful old city that is especially vibrant on market days when the market stalls take over all of the old town. Centrally placed between Nîmes and Avignon the property offers many days out exploring the local area where there is so much to see and do. We made a couple of longer trips to Montpellier and to Marseille but really there was more than enough locally to keep us occupied. Definitely an area worth visiting and we’d recommend the property to anyone looking for a base here.

Fantastic - Thank You Gérald and family!

Gérald and his wife could not have been any more welcoming, and made us feel at home immediately, but he was also very discrete at all times, respecting our privacy too. The property was well equipped and if there was anything we felt was missing we only had to ask and Gérald was very helpful - for example we asked for another chopping board and he produced one there and then. It felt bigger in side than the impression we got from the pictures - the lounge/dinning room in particular - and was spotlessly clean. The pool was absolutely fabulous and my youngest spent more time in it than out of it! Probably the best pool we have had in all the years we have been renting in France. We have been visiting the area for many years and love it. Uzès is a lovely town with a beautiful square (Place Aux Herbes) in the centre and it is close enough for us to visit the areas we like the most (Collias for dinner by the river at L'Enclos and a swim, or Kayaking down the Gardon, the beaches of La Grande Motte or L'Espiguette, the port of Grau-du-Roi for dinner by the river/harbour or even the cultural experiences of the Pont du Gard or the walled city of Aigues-Mortes to name a few) or to explore something new! Many thanks Gérald it was a pleasure to meet you and your family and spend a week at your wonderful holiday cottage (though the time went far too quickly!) I would highly recommend this property.

Das Ferienhaus ist sehr gut ausgestattet, die Lage ist gut, der Poolberwich ist sehr schön. Alles ist umgeben von einem wunderbaren mediterranen Garten mit vielen Olivenbäumen, Oleandern, Lavendel und Kräutern. Man kann auf der Terrasse unter Olivenbäumen essen. Der Gastgeber Monsieur Gerald ist äußerst freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt dort.

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und alles war perfekt. Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet und geschmackvoll eingerichtet, bestens ausgestattet. Besonders hat uns die große Terrasse mit den Olivenbäumen gefallen, die Schatten gespendet haben. Der Pool war grandios und genau richtig um sich nach einer Tour dort abzukühlen. Der Gastgeber war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und hat uns sehr nett empfangen. Die Stadt Uzes ist sehr charmant und es war besonders abends sehr schön dort zu sitzen und zu essen. Ausflüge in die Umgebung gab es genug (Pont du Gard, Avignon, Nimes, ..). Ein toller Ort um zu entspannen und Unternehmungen oder Wanderungen in die wunderschöne Umgebung zu machen.

Très belle et agréable location

Nous avons passé une très agréable semaine dans ce gîte qui correspondait exactement à la description et aux commentaires élogieux. Excellent accueil et conseils des sympathiques et discrets propriétaires. La piscine est superbe et très bien entretenue. Seul petit bémol, le bruit de la route de Nîmes qui aux heures de pointe fait parfois concurrence au chant des cigales...

toller Pool

Wir haben dieses Ferienhaus gewählt, weil es uns von meinem Vater, der bereits 2018 mit meiner Tante dort war, wärmstens empfohlen wurde. Und wir wurden nicht enttäuscht. Der Vermieter ist sehr nett und spricht hervorragend Englisch. Das Haus ist groß, bestens ausgestattet und sehr sauber. Das Wasser im 13 m langen Pool ist kaum gechlort und wir haben das Schwimmen sehr genossen. Uzès ist in 15 Minuten über einen gut begehbaren Weg zwischen Steinmauern erreichbar oder natürlich mit dem Auto. Am Ortsrand gibt es einen großen kostenlosen Parkplatz. Wir sind viel gewandert und mussten dafür nicht weit fahren, aber auch Kayak fahren auf dem Gardon hat uns Spaß gemacht. In der einen Woche, die wir dort waren, haben wir längst nicht alles geschafft, was wir sehen wollten. Vielleicht kommen wir noch mal wieder!

Urlaub in schönster Umgebung

Wir genossen eine herrliche Woche in einem hübschen kleinen Haus mit einem grosszügigen Pool in einem grossen Grundstück mit vielen Pflanzen. Auf dem Sitzplatz essen unter Olivenbäumen konnten wir vorher noch nie. Sehr netter Gastgeber und Uzès ist ein wirklich schönes, malerisches Städtchen. Besten Dank Gérald Drouin!

Sehr schönes Ferienhaus

Wir hatten Anfang Juli einen sehr erholsamen Urlaub in diesem wunderschönen Ferienhaus. Sowohl das Haus als auch das Grundstück sind außerordentlich gepflegt und vermitteln landestypischen Charme. Der große, extrem saubere Pool, die Klimaanlage im Haus und die Olivenbäume geben auch bei hohen Temperaturen gute Abkühlung. Gerald ist ein sehr freundlicher, aufmerksamer Gastgeber und spricht hervorragend Englisch. Uzès ist ein sehr sehenswerter und charmanter Ort und idealer Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge zum Pont du Gard, an die Ardeche, die Camargue und die Orte Nimês, Avignon, Arles…Danke Gerald!

Perfekter Urlaubsort

Das Haus entspricht der Beschreibung, die Lage ist sehr ansprechend und idyllisch. Die Betten sind bequem und in der Küche ist alles vorhanden. Der Poolbereich ist ein Traum. Der Besitzer ist sehr freundlich und jederzeit gut zu erreichen. Uzes ist zu Fuß in ca. 15 min. zu erreichen. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gibt es in fußläufiger Nähe. Jederzeit wieder!

Südfrankreich vom Feinsten

Netter Empfang und Abschied vom Gastgeber, der bei Fragen immer zur Stelle war, Haus und Garten waren noch schöner als auf den Fotos, der gepflegte Pool war zu unserer positiven Überraschung schon offen, obwohl er Anfang Mai eigentlich noch geschlossen sein sollte, es war an Ausstattung und Ausrüstung alles da, wir waren also glücklich und kommen irgendwann einmal wieder. Zauberhaftes Haus im Grünen

Die Lage ist prima, voll in der Provence, viele Sehenswürdigkeiten gut erreichbar. Nach einer halben Stunde zu Fuss ist man mitten im Städtchen Uzès. Das Haus selber gemütlich, wunderbar gelegen in einem schönen Garten und Olivenhain, viel Platz und viel Ruhe. Der Gastgeber ist sehr freundlich und zuverlässig, gleich zur Stelle, wenn man eine Frage oder Problem hat. Auch seine Empfehlungen sind prima. Wir haben es sehr genossen.

Wundervolles Entspannen unter Olivenbäumen

ein schönes, optimal ausgestattetes Haus. Gemütliches Sitzen unter Olivenbäumen, leises Verkehrsrauschen, das aber nicht stört, in der Ferne. Mit dem Auto kurze Wege zum Carrefour oder Biosupermarkt. Man kann zu Fuß nach Uzes laufen (bei Hitze recht anstrengend) oder mit dem Auto fahren. Der freundliche Besitzer hat auf einen kostenlosen Parkplatz am Rande des Ortes hingwiesen. Empfehlenswert ist der Markt, der Mittwochs und Samstags stattfindet. Es lohnt sich, den malerischen Ort mit seinen Restaurants und Boutiken zu Fuß zu besuchen. Die beiden Wochen waren wunderschön, der Regen am letzten Tag hat uns den Abschied dann doch leicht gemacht. Vielen Dank,Ggerald, für den schönen Aufenthalt bei Dir!

Im algemeinen ist es so wie beschrieben. Das einzige was uns sehr gestoert hat war der Laerm der Strasse der etwa 100m vom Haus entfernt liegt und worueber sehr viel Verkehr läuft. Sobald man am Pool oder ausserhalb des Hauses ist, ist es leider nicht sehr ruhig und entspannend.

Superbe gîte au carrefour de sites d’exception !

Nous avons passé un magnifique séjour au Mas des Oliviers en ce mois de juillet 2022. Le gîte est très bien équipé, l’extérieur est superbe avec de nombreux oliviers, lauriers, lavandes...et le chant des cigales ! La piscine est très agréable et particulièrement bien conçue pour les petits comme pour les grands ! D’Uzes nous avons pu visiter tout le secteur (Nîmes, Avignon, les grottes, la Camargue...). Encore merci au propriétaire pour son accueil et sa gentillesse !

The perfect place to relax and unwind.

Set in the most beautiful grounds lined with olive trees, this stunning cottage was the perfect place for us to relax and unwind. Gerald our host was fantastic and ensured we had everything we needed for our stay with our 2 year old daughter. The cottage has all of the facilities you need and is within walking distance of the beautiful town of Uzes and a stones throw away from the most delicious bakery! We had warm croissants and sweet pastries every morning for breakfast! The highlight for us was the incredible swimming pool… just beautiful!! We will certainly be recommending this place to friends and family back home. Thank you Gerald for an amazing stay and for all your recommendations. We’ll be back if you’ll have us!

Tolle Unterkunft

Wir haben eine Woche Ende Juni dort verbracht und uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Man kann zu Fuß nach Uzes laufen und viele Sehenswürdigkeiten sind in 30 Minuten mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Besonders genossen haben wir den tollen Pool! Die Vermieter sind super nett, unkompliziert und aufgeschlossen! Empfehlungen: Kanutour auf der Gardons nach La Baume (in Richtung Pont du Gard ist es nicht so schön), Wanderung von Sanilhac-Sagriès nach La Baume, Uzes, Nimes, Pont du Gard ….
