The Hotel Mahendra Prakash is awesome place to stay in Udaipur at affordable cost. The rooms are spacious and gives you haveli like atmosphere. It is located at a prime area, major tourist spots are at walkable distance. Frintdesk, Housekeeping and restaurant staff is efficient and polite. Swimming pool is clean. Good is nice. Amazing breakfast. The owners and family are welcoming.They have maintained high standards of the property. Must stay at this hotel when in Udaipur. Highly recommended.

Upon arrival the staff showed us around the small and very well kept hotel. The rooms are outstanding value for money, as are the food and drink served there. The swimming pool is very well maintained. All in all … fantastic. Would we recommend this hotel…. Absolutely

Lovely property with lots of character. The grounds were beautiful and the rooms unique. We loved the old world feel. The staff was caring and helpful, always attending to our every need. Dinner was delicious in the courtyard as we sat in candlelight. Only a few steps away from shopping and the city palace. This place was a hidden gem. I would stay here again and would most definitely recommend.

We arrived before 9 am after 2 long flights and were immediately given a room well before normal check in time to recupriate. The following morning we were asked if we would like to move to a better positioned room by the pool, which we did. All the staff were extremely helpful and friendly especially Mr. Hookem (sorry if this is not how he spells his name) who put up with my inveterate questions and was helpful in every respect. The hotel is less than 10 minutes walk from the City Palace and therefore is well positioned. Heartily recommend it

The staff and management were extremely professional and attentive. The breakfast bar was just the right size to get a tasty choice of options. The areas within the fort converted to hotel were picturesque. The interior rooms were light-sleeper quite. The air was clear with plenty of lighting. It was quite the balancing trick to keep my adapter connected to the outlet -actually thats not unique to this establishment, in my experiences; however, it was a bit challenging during this stay. Overall, it was an enjoyable experience. Very friendly and accomodating.

Ottimo boutique hotel nel centro di Udaipur

Ottimo Hotel, abbiamo pernottato per 5 notti e ci siamo trovati molto bene, la prima notte ci avevano dato una stanza un poco piccola per essere una deluxe ma la mattina dopo abbiamo chiesto di cambiarla e quella assegnataci era davvero bella e comoda. Buona la colazione e anche il ristorante, in ottima posizione per visitare i principali monumenti di Udaipur. Abbiamo conosciuto il padrone dell'hotel che è una persona cordiale che ci ha fatto sentire sempre a nostro agio. Consigliatissimo
