While the cabin is gorgeous and the amenities are top-notch, the hosts truly stood out. We were caught in a massive 4-day power outage due to a severe snow storm, and their constant communication and efforts to get us a snow plow were incredible. They made us feel safe and cared for in a tough situation. The amenities (propane fireplace and running hot water) were also total lifesavers!

Absolutely One of the Best!
Or hosts, Rhonda and Jason, not only provided great communication, but also provided one of the best Twain Harte Vacation Rental experiences our family has had (and we've probably had close to 30!) Everything was incredibly clean, and well presented, and furnishings were some of the highest quality things we've have in a rental - the mattresses and bedding, the patio furniture, the silverware, glass ware, pots and pans -- it really shows that the owners want guests to have a wonderful experience. We were new to the mini-split heat/ac, but every room has them and what an incredible nice way to make everyone happy!! The neighborhood is at the end of a small street (no traffic!! and no noise!! The lot is huge with a lot of wilderness type space between this cabin and any neighbors. We've been coming to Twain Harte since our daughters were little kids, and now we're all back bringing 2 and 4 year old grand daughters. the deck is as safe as you could get, and the setting is serene and peaceful. I don't believe anyone could ever be disappointed with Sunrise Hideaway. We'll definitely plan to visit again.

Perfect Summer Getaway in Twain Harte!
We had the most amazing pre–4th of July family vacation at this beautiful cabin in Twain Harte! The home was absolutely spotless, beautifully decorated, and fully stocked with everything we could possibly need—from kitchen essentials to extra blankets and fun games for the whole family. Everything in the cabin looked brand new, giving the whole place a fresh, modern feel while still feeling like a warm and cozy cabin retreat. There was plenty of space for all of us. The beds were incredibly comfortable with high-quality bedding and blankets that felt just like a luxury hotel—such a treat after busy days at the lake!We loved starting our mornings sipping coffee on the beautiful deck, soaking in the peaceful surroundings, and then spending our afternoons swimming and enjoying the sunshine by the lake. Having lake access was truly the cherry on top—such a bonus for making the most of our summer getaway! The peaceful mountain setting made it the perfect escape, yet we were still close enough to town for anything we needed. The hosts were absolutely wonderful—friendly, responsive, and great communicator who made sure we had everything we needed for an stress-free stay.If you’re looking for a relaxing, spacious, and family-friendly summer retreat with all the comforts (and quality!) of home, this is the place. We can’t wait to return. Highly recommend!
