Good clean and easy to find, coffee is very watered down not very good at all
Pillows not comfortable and very limited tv channel availability
This had to be the worse hotel ever, I am 55 and have stayed everywhere, never again here! It was very dirty, the room smelled, the closet door was off the rail and couldn't be fixed, there was burn holes in the bed spread and this was a no smoking room, carpet was so dirty that my white socks will not wash back to white,we had 1 wash cloth in the room for 3 people, there was 1 ice machine, on the 3rd. floor and we were on the 1st., there was holes on both sides of the bathroom door, for breakfast, there was cereal but no milk. I brought all of this to the attention of the manager (SAM) and was told he couldn't help us at all, it was graduation weekend at U of A, they were full and to top it all off, we were charged 48% more than the reg. price of the room because they knew that there was no other rooms available anywhere. (FROM $90 per night to $130)
The Quality Inn was a well-maintained facility, with helpful staff. The breakfast provided was adequate. The pool was located in the parking lot, which was very unusual, and was very small. The hotel was difficult to find from the highway. However, its location was close to the University of Alabama campus, which was our main objective. There was shopping within walking distance of the hotel. I would stay there again, given the value for the money.
My stay at the Quality Inn Tuscaloosa very disappointing. It was frustrating. The room was nasty. The bathtub was really dirty, and there were dead bugs on the bathroom floor. When I pulled the covers back on the first night, I was disgusted to find crumbs and several hairs on the pillow. The best the staff could do was deliver sheets for me to put on the bed...with no apologies for the condition of the room. When I complained at the desk the next day, the staff didn't seem to be very suprised or concerned. It was late, I was alone in an unfamiliar town. The event that I was in town for was heavily scheduled and left no time to further pursue the issue.
The staff was very friendly and I had a great stay and I will be back next month!!
