There is something very fishy going on at this hotel. I booked through orbitz but was charged through the hotel. They proceeded to charge me what Orbitz quoted but then also charged me for an additional two nights on a separate transaction. I spent two hours trying to get answers from their front desk staff. I got the run around and was told the book keeper had to follow up with my complaint. They never called me back. I proceeded to call several times and continued to be told that they could only see one charge. My bank verified that they had charged me twice and had already had received the funds. They clearly have fraudulent practices. Do not stay here ever.

The room was nice just needed some minor things fixed in it. I was very disappointed overall by the way the staff acted when having to do something. It wasn't all the staff because I did have some good interaction with some of the staff. This is a good hotel if you just need a reasonably priced place to stay but if you are able I would probably go somewhere else.

There was mold on the ceilings and the hotel seemed to be almost empty, both of which are bad signs. There is ongoing road construction outside the hotel which makes it hard to get in and out of, too. But the staff were friendly and the full breakfast was very satisfying, so for the price I guess it was worth it, in cost-inflated Tuscaloosa.

Best hotel breakfast ever. My kids loved the pool. The only set back was location. It was easy to spot on the interstate but once you hit the exit it's easy to miss the entrance because of their location.

Hotel was clean, easy to find and well located and the price was reasonable.

room was clean but TV was not easy to use for they were in the process of switching cable companies and when i spoke with the front desk clerk she said it wasn't her problem. The workout room was not in good shape and equipment was broken.

Good hotel for the price. Staff was great as well as the location. Rooms were clean and well maintained. I would definitely return there.

I never know what to expect after reading reviews and I am always nervous about the hotels after booking. I was very pleased when we arrived, the staff was very nice. When I opened the door to our room you could smell the clean. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast the next morning was also good. Eggs, biscuits, sausage, grits, oatmeal, pancakes, fruit and yogurt were the offerings. Hit the spot! Would love to visit again!

Satisfied my needs but TV cable was broken they offered to change rooms but too tired to move

My daughter and I went to visit University of Alabama as a possible college for this coming Fall. I went online to find hotels located close to the University and found Best Western. I would highly recommend this hotel if you are visiting U of A. The location is about 5 minutes away from the college and EXTREMELY easy yo get to. Although I was a bit nervous when I pulled into the hotel…it is located in the middle of a parking lot, which was not the impression I got when looking at the photos online. However… the staff was delightful and the sleeping rooms were clean, updated and very quiet. Not to mention the complimentary breakfast was delicious. It was a place I will be sure to be staying at MANY times for the next 4 years!!! ROLL TIDE!

Good location near the university. Staff was very professional and friendly and the complimentary hot breakfast was well stocked.

My friends and I stayed here on the way to an Auburn football game in Starkville. It was a great deal, and obviously had recently been renovated. It was a very pleasant stay, and we ended up staying again on Saturday night on the way home instead of driving back.

Great! I sincerely appreciated to hospitality. Will choose this motel again.

It was comfortable and quiet, two things I value. I'd stay again. Breakfast was good, nice variety.

We have stayed here on a couple of occasions for quick overnight visits to Bama. It is very convenient to campus as well as other establishments and major highways. Free breakfast is great and the staff are very friendly.

Overall great experience. Hotel was clean, staff was super friendly and very helpful with several requests we had. I would have no problem staying again or recommending. The rate was great! Breakfast plenty to get your day going. All thumbs up.

We got in at midnight. The desk clerk was VERY accommodating , she was able to change my room to a ground floor room. We drove right up to our room. The breakfasts were wonderful, clean and always wiped & refilled. I didn't care for the eggs but I have fresh farms eggs daily;) When I went to the front area to ask for advice as to what to do in the area 2 staff members were having their lunch & 1 lady- I think Julia stopped eating to show me the coupon area & diagram a map for me! The front desk clerk was busy at that time. They were all happy & smiles;) I had a problem with my frig- it quit;( , they were VERY apologetic and replaced it & put all my food into the working one while we were at the soccer game. The front desk clerk--same one who took time away from her lunch---I think Juia(?) made sure to ask about the change with a follow up phone call. It was either rainy or we were at soccer games so we didn't use the pool. I gave it perfect stars as I saw the condition & saw other guests enjoying it. My only "complaint" would be the smell of the new black top:(. But it was smooth. I felt totally secure & safe at this location, I travel as a single mom with my children most of the time. Overall this was a Great 3 night stay & we would definitely stay here again if we visit the area again. Thank you!

I booked this hotel online-which means sight unseen. When we arrived I was leary. The building is oddly situated behind a gas station and a restaurant and it is right off the interstate. The lobby was nice and the staff friendly. Our room was nice and smelled cleaned. The beds were comfy and the bathroom roomy. The pool area was nice too--just a little difficult with 3 yr old and no steps at entrance--but it was just for a quick swim so not a big deal. The drink machines did not work--I walked around the property to find a drink and the machines would not take the money. Overall, good price and clean room and convenient to lots of things.

No problems other than a bit noisy during the night -- and this was a weeknight. Breakfast was good.

Room was clean, staff was great. Nice and quiet. Breakfast was also very good. Had everything a growing boy could ask for.
