Love the location of this hotel. It's close to campus for our business trip, but not too crazy and kind of off to itself where it's quiet and peaceful. Will definitely stay here again when I'm in Tuscaloosa!

Our room was great, clean and spacious however there were no plates for breakfast when we went. The breakfast didn’t have a good selection for someone who is celiac. The cleanliness of the hotel in general was not great. A bag of trash sat for a day right outside the elevator.

Staff was super friendly and attentive. The actual room had dirty linen and we had ants popping up everywhere in our room ( on that 2nd floor). Shower curtain also had mold on it.

Tip on Gameday

Got an email saying there would be no room service, even though it was1100 a night. Smelled smoke in the room,and even tbough they charged for parking,could not guarantee we would get a space,and had signs that they were not responsible for any damage. Elevator bell sounded like a horrow film. Otherwise it was ok. People were nice.

I was looking for a place to stay on my ride home and had stayed at Home2 Suites(different locations) before so this seemed like an easy decision. The property looked welcoming and safe which I appreciated. The room looked like someone had just left, toilet seat cracked and no soap in the bathroom… fine, but nothing alarmed me as much as when I saw my bill. The pet fees were overcharged(doubled in fact @ $150 for a one night stay when I was told I’d be charged $75) and the drinks in the market area are way exaggerated(2 bottled soft drinks were $20). I know beverages at hotels are more expensive, but stadium prices? Still waiting on the incidental fee to return. I’m not sure if this is a normal occurrence or just mistakes, which I could understand… something tells me this happens often and people tired from traveling just don’t question it.
