This condo in the (huge) Aldea Zama development in Tulum was perfect for our vacation. The people at Tulum Homes were very accommodating: They arranged our shuttle to/from the airport, and our rented bicycles were delivered as soon as we arrived! The condo was very clean and comfortable, and had everything we needed to cook. I would highly recommend staying here as a much more affordable alternative to staying on the beach. It was also very quiet compared to the beach, which frequently hosts huge parties/raves that last until the break of dawn (one such party occurred while we were there, and we spoke to a couple the next day who was very unhappy about it because they had paid a large sum of money to stay on the beach and were kept awake all night). Everything we needed was a short bicycle or taxi ride away. One thing worth noting: The hot tub on the roof is more of a bathtub, and the water heater doesn't provide enough hot water to fill it. We would turn it on for 10 minutes, then off for 10 more to let the water heat up, then on and off again until it was full. It was a minor inconvenience, and we had the pool to ourselves any time we wanted it.
