Wonderful stay at Northstar!

We had the best time staying at this lovely home in Northstar. The area was beautiful, easy access to ski resort and Truckee town. We loved the hot tub after a long day of hitting the slopes. Thank you for a great stay!

Summer at Snowbird

This is our second visit to this home, and will be back again! We stayed here in Winter of 2023 and had a fantastic time, and found out it is equally fantastic in the summer! The home is inviting and airy, and is within walking distance to the village. Will be back again :) Thank you !

Fantastic home!

The Snowbird Retreat home was a great place for our extended family to stay for a few days. The home was clean and in a prime location for all of the activities we wanted to do. Our family would highly recommend the home and would love to return if we were in the area again!

The best location !! Love that the loop of beaver pond is removed from main road the garage was amazing bedrooms very accommodating living space was open yet intimate. I've stayed at 5 different places in last five years and this one was the best

Winter Wonderland in March

A beautiful home with all of the amenities! Love the high ceilings and large windows to the snowy outdoors. My husband and kids loved all of the electronics, and the desk and screen in the master suite was a plus for doing an hour of work in the morning. Definitely would stay here again.

A perfect vacation

Tahoe never disappoints. Visited Tahoe with my family who was visiting from out of town. The house was very comfortable for 10 people. It has all the amenities we could think of and more. Great serene location with a stream in the back overlooking the woods. Great location, great property, perfect for a comfortable stay in this beautiful setting.

Wonderful Home

Our stay at the Snowbird Retreat was perfect. The house is in a great location, it's very comfortable, lots of beds for the kiddos, and being able to bring our dog was a huge plus. As mentioned in other reviews, while the kitchen has quite a bit, be sure to bring up staples with you (for example, we couldn't find sugar for our coffee. Make sure the heater in the main house doesn't kick on too early, it was pretty noisy in the single queen room. Overall, highly recommend!

Fun time in Northstar

House was clean and on the shuttle route that had very quick pick ups and drop off's. Lots of space for everyone and their ski gear. It would be nice to have instructions on how to operate the heating system. I'm not sure if it's all remotely controlled by the rental agency, or not, but we were not able to adjust the heat at all. Sometimes a little too cool in the evening and a little too hot in the morning.

June lease in Truckee

Beautiful house in a quiet and peaceful location. We especially liked the ability to walk through the forest to the pool and rec center. High ceilings and view of the trees in backyard was also nice. The only reason for missing a star is the stove. The gas stove top without ventilation is not to code and dangerous. In summer we could open windows to vent, but in winter I wouldn't have used the stove for fear of indoor air quality. But if they replaced the stove with induction or added a real vent the house would be perfect!
