Stayed at Renda as visited several places in Trapani area Erice medieval village bus stop few mins walk takes you there, and has cable car takes you into this village. Also bus stop 5 mins walk runs from Palermo airport and back twice a day which stops practically outside Renda appartments. We also visited the beautiful San Capo de Vito . The apartment was spacious and modern. with kitchenette air conditioning shower, I Windows have beautiful shutters if closed and air con on air traffic noise is minimised, however I prefer windows open so we tolerated the air traffic noises. There are some apartments further back not facing main road. They have their own website. Also there is delicatessen which owners of apartment have on the ground floor for provisions, also sells wines, and ice cream coffee and outdoor seating. We cooked at apartment brought fresh fish from fresh fish , and lots of local supermarkets selling local produce. Beach area is 15 mins walk and free. There is a beach club area lots of activities for children in same area. Loved the Baroque architecture in this town, and ideally situated to visit many other areas. We were only here 3 days. My mother is Italian she 85 so enjoyed the trip. We spent time in Palermo before we left to visit family in Napoli and Almalfi. Weather hot most of the year. We chose June, usually holiday in September. June is quiet season so is September onwards.
We have been in this apartment in April and I can only say that the owners are fantastic people. The apartment was clean and with a balcony overlooking Via GB Fardella. We had the maid every day and also had clean towels every day. The only drawback is that there is no lift otherwise it is in the centre of the town. I would certainly recommend this apartment
We had a great stay in Renda appartment, the appartment is located on the main street so it's perfect location to go on the beach, city center, supermarkets,..etc. The owners are very kind and in their local shop you can find all delicious things from Sicily :) The cleaning lady comms every day, the appartment had everything we needed...
We stayed here for three nights in May 2014. The apartment owners were very helpful. Firstly they booked a local taxi to get us from the airport as we arrived quite late and I did not want to pull a cab from the rank in a place i did not know. The pick up went smoothly and there was a guy with my name on a card in the arrivals hall of the local airport. He dropped us at the apartment, The owners run a delicatessen underneath the apartment and they were still open when we arrived and we picked up the keys from them and they got someone to show us all we needed in the apartment. The apartment itself was clean and more than adequate in size for the two of us. The location was one of the main shopping streets and the deli was in between a cafe bar and a patisserie so no problem sorting out a lovely Italian breakfast. You are about a 10 minute walk from the old town and it takes about 10 minutes to get your bearings as Trapani is on a narrow peninsula jutting out into the Mediterrean sea. We went there for a cycling break but the town itself was a really nice sirprise for us. i will go back again I'm sure.
We stayed only one night at the Renda Appartamenti. The host were very nice and welcoming. The apartment well located (not far from central station and buses), clean and with all necessary features. Price afordable for the area.
Great arrangement of accomodation and sparklingly clean. Lovely food shop at street level. Handy for the bus and train stations and buses to Erice. Daily cleaning with fresh towes, better than many hotels. No street noise.
My mother and I needed a place that was close to a bus stop and that’s exactly what this is. The bus from the airport stops very close to the hotel (get out when you see a church on the other side of the street). The bus stop to Palermo is also just a few minutes’ down the street. Renda herself is very friendly. She works in the shop in front of the hotel and told us we can come in at any time if we have questions. She gave us an extra water bottle plus some chocolates at no extra charge. Our room was very charming, clean and smelled lovely. The kitchen was a plus too. You can tell Renda really cares a lot about the place. There is no lift so if you are unable to climb stairs this might not the be place you.
We stayed here this past week and loved the space and the hosts. It's located a very short walk to the beach in a central location. The apartment was clean, spacious and provided us a unique base for exploring the region. Shower is a bit small to get into if you are rotund. Though we requested a one bedroom, we received a two bedroom unit. It was nice to have the extra room for privacy. Check in procedure requires going to their lovely store first and being escorted to the property about two blocks away. The hosts spoke only a little English, but we were able to communicate just fine. We received a discount from the restaurant they recommended.
excellent accommodation, clean and comfortable. this is the second time we stayed in this apartment. within walking distance to port, bus station, train station and erice cablecar. would recommend this property.owners are so helpful
Nice, no fuss appartments. Centrally located in Trapani, at walking distance to the beach and a 5 minute drive to the harbour and Trapani Old City. The appartments are owned by the Trattoria owner downstaires. Check in is therefore in this truly Sicilian Trattoria. The owner and his family are really nice and take time to show you around and explain useful things about the appartment and Trapani. We stayed here for 1 night, before flying home in the early morning. The appartments are conveniently located at a 30 minutes drive from the airport. Check out at 4.00 AM was no problem at all. We could just pay in advance and leave our keys on the table in the morning. Parking in front of the appartment is payed parking (we payed about 5 euros and parked from 1 PM till 4.30 AM). You can park for free on the large parking in front of the beach. It is about 10 minutes to walk from there to the appartment. The appartment owner, also ownes a restaurant in the Harbour: A Casa Mia. A really nice and cosy truly Sicilian family restaurant. You should try the canneloni and the lemon sherbet when you're there. If you are looking for a nice place to stay in Trapani, I would definitly recommend Renda Appartments.
