We stayed for one night our room was compact but very clean, no hot water in the morning which was disappointing, the breakfast was what I expected cereal, toast, fruit, yogurt, tea and coffee, the accommodation is right in the center of Tralee which is what we wanted, it was reasonably priced too, all good

We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights in February. The rooms were basic but pleasant and clean. I particularly liked that I could control the level of heating in the room at any point of the stay. The shower was hot. I was amused by the number of plug points in the room, usually in hotels there is a poor supply of these. The continental breakfast was exactly as described so I'd no quibble with it. On checking in, there were 2 minor issues, both issues were dealt with by Samantha in a pleasant and professional manner. That evening, Matthew followed up on the issues to ensure all was satisfactory. He is a lovely guy and certainly has his finger on the pulse to keep guests happy. I'd recommend this centrally located hotel to anyone.

We spent two nights here. We were pleased with the place in all respects. Breakfast was really good compared to other places we have been at. The only detraction was the fun-park right in front of the hotel. The noise level was rather high and we had to keep the windows shut tight to keep the noise out. The owners are very efficient and helpful. The parking place was pretty tight. The hotel is right where all the pubs are.

No hot water in the morning and a very limited breakfast. We had the smallest ‘double bed’ I’ve ever slept in and one thin pillow each - worst night’s sleep of the holiday. On the plus side the room was clean and WiFi worked.

+ Comfortable beds, friendly staff, good location, acceptable wifi, acceptable breakfast, plenty power points in room, room clean, good welcome from staff. - Lots of little things suggest the owners never stay there. No information pack, self-catering kitchen not marked, no working kettles, kitchen grubby, gradations worn off stove controls, self-catering dining area doubling with laundry ironing and sorting, insufficient free parking (plenty of public parking but that's pay and display after 8.30am), good noise insulation between rooms but not from corridors (banging doors, etc), tiny bathroom and no bathmat though floor gets wet, etc, etc. None of these negatives particularly spoiled our stay. If this had been a E40 hostel we would give it a 5 star rating. But for the prices charged management needs to pay more attention to detail.

stayed here with my husband and 2 kids, had a double bed & a bunk bed, beds were comfortable and place was clean no complaints there, the bathroom was TINY, could barely take one step in there, no toiletries except 4 tiny bars of soap, could really have done with some small shampoo & shower gel, it doesn't cost much surely for your guest's comfort, no tea/coffee making facility in the room either, the breakfast was continental which would have been fine if there had been more of a selection, there were only 3 types of cereal, white or brown toast, fruit salad in a bowl, cheap ham & slices of cheese, bananas, oranges & apples, & tiny little pre-packed muffins, the milk for the cereals was constantly running out and having to be re-filled - just put out bigger jugs?! .. the tea cups were just tiny, another thing that could improve guest's comfort is simply providing proper decent cups, also no sweeteners provided, so many people use sweeteners as opposed to sugar! would recommend the place in general as it was very reasonably priced and comfortable BUT they really could improve on breakfast! - when it's only continental there should be a lot more of a selection of cereals, bigger cups, bigger cereal bowls, some scones, croissants & other pastries, selection of yoghurts, more meats - salmon maybe? more cheeses, bread rolls

This is a nice place to stay. Breakfast was more than adequate, and there was plenty of seating available for all guests. The staff was friendly and attentive. The rooms were clean. A cozy, safe, comfortable place.

Fab holiday in Iona lodge at Tralee. Lodge spotless and has everything you need. Site well maintained. Staff very helpful. Great beach five minute walk. Will be back. Chip shop on site. Fish was fab, yummy.

We paid €75 for 3 people to stay one night here and it couldn't have been better value. The room was clean, spacious and modern with all the amenities needed for a one-night stay including a shower and TV. Parking is abundant and the hotel is conveniently located next to the local Tesco supermarket. The continental breakfast was very good and all included within the €75 price for 3 people. Staff were friendly and helpful; the manager is a cool guy. Overall, I would highly recommend this accommodation.

We recently stayed at the Tralee Holiday Lodge on an EF Tour. There were 45 in our group. We ate dinner at the lodge both nights, and our group was served a delicious meal both nights. The servers were all so nice and attentive. The owners were there to make sure everything ran smoothly. The rooms are small and the bathroom is very small, but everything is very clean. The lodge is walking distance from several great pubs and restaurants, and it is very safe.
