Wow was my initial reaction and I was not disappointed. The property and people were wonderful. A high end restaurant, wine tasting cave, pool, gym, spa was more than we expected. Our sommelier was attentive and knowledgeable. When we asked where we could buy one of the wonderful wines we had at dinner he called a contact and arranged for a case to be delivered to us at the hotel!!

An excellent, luxurious stopover!

This hotel recently opened in the beautiful small town of Tournus and is smart, elegant and well-equipped. The staff are all very helpful and take great care to observe the current health requirements, not easy for them as the obligatory face-masks and gloves make their lives much more difficult than usual. Our room was good and quiet, lacking only a bathtub to soak away a day’s travel as this location is an ideal stopover for the long drive from north to south of France. The restaurant is excellent with a visible kitchen service and fine local produce cooked expertly. The chef even shared one of his recipes with us! A good wine list, including a range by the glass, has a wide choice of local and national wines. We will return!
