Great place to stay at a very reasonable price. It's an older hotel with all the charm you would expect. The front desk was super helpful and extremely friendly. I highly recommend the pizza place just down the hill. The pizza was superb and the staff were super friendly. Oh, you can't beat the views...absolutely priceless!

There is a restaurant on the property and easy to walk to nice separate pizza / sandwich restaurant with a very pleasant covered patio in the back. A bit pricey, but the room was nice (others were even nicer) and the setting was beautiful. The bar and grill across the parking lot was really good. The owners were very friendly and kept a lot of helpful information about Capitol Reef in the lobby. The reason for the overall 4 rating was price and breakfast being just coffee, granola bars and apples. Also, our room did not have a refridgerator (others did), which left me scrambling with keeping our road trip perishables cool.

This proved to be a good location for our visit to Capitol Reef National Park. The property is an older, basic motel, but it was clean, comfortable beds, decent bathroom and nice views. The location is a bit outside of Torrey (which isn’t much), but out you closer to the park. There is a nice Mexican restaurant about a 1/4th mile away, and while breakfast isn’t available at the property, it’s available at the hotel right across the highway. A revelation for us was how wonderful the dinner we had at the on-site restaurant (which only serves dinner) was. We had an excellent meal there our last evening, and it was obviously very popular. We’d recommend this property.
