Lovely old hotel with lots of charm Eclectic group of guests to my liking Dining was not gourmet but was good Breakfast was good and well presented View from 1409 was poor because construction next door was in full swing Location of the hotel was perfect for our needs Uber service excellent suggest you don’t insist on a minimum number of words for survey It is a pain I am now angry for your insistence

Great hotel. Nice location and facilities. It was walking distance to the CN tower, about 20 ministers walk. However, we did a few stops passing some of Toronto’s picture perfect scenes. Breakfast had a great selection. The pool below and the view from rooftop deck was amazing. Nice soaking in the hot tub after all the walk we did for the day.

AMAZING AMENITIES. GREAT PLACE FOR BOTH ADULTS AND KIDS.

The hotel location made it easy to get around Toronto via subway. Cable tv is terrible....no volume on a lot of channels and don't get a lot of channels oon ther card. It was like tyhe hotel ordered one cable subscription for the whole hotel. Clean rooms. Cheap pergola floor that wasn't put together all the way. Pool is cold.

We loved staying here. Beautiful, clean, and so quiet. The roof top was awesome. It does get cold out there though. My boyfriend had proposed to me up there and I thought it was amazing because of the city line around us. The hotel even assisted him and allowed him to do everything he needed when he proposed to me. There were only 2 things that we didn’t like: the lighting in the room was a bit too dim. Also, the bathroom is in a very strange spot (way too close to the bed) it was kind of difficult to walk in there late at night while my boyfriend was sleeping right next to it. We can’t wait to come back. We absolutely loved this hotel. 😊

It was really clean, hospitable and enjoyable. We loved it!

Everything was great about the hotel but the faucet in the bathroom was leaking. I didn’t report it in so I don’t think there was anyway for them to know about it. The TVs in the room were low. I think they were turned low so I wouldn’t disturb the neighbors but I couldn’t even hear the tv. The staff was amazing and helpful. The location is okay. Most of what I needed was in walking distance. Nice facility. I would totally stay here again.

I feel comfortable after my stay. Visited some interesting points by walk. People were kind in the hotel and on the street. Keeping warm in heart after this trip.

Great value, great location, secure. Breakfast was wonderful, service was great. I would highly recommend

Its my favorite hotel when i go to Toronto the staff is always nice and room is comfortable. My favorite thing is hot tub on the roof and the breakfasr buffet.

Overall nice hotel, could use some updating, everything in the rooms is outdated and the beds aren’t very comfortable. Very nice staff. Parking garage is very narrow so if you have a large car you might want to check it before deciding to park there.

We really enjoyed the beautiful atmosphere of the hotel. We were within a ten minute walk to Eaton Center and public transportation was very accessible. Every morning, we were able to enjoy hot, fresh breakfast items. The rooms are cozy and comfortable; just like staying in a studio.

Seems that no one in this hotel have a smile. Room was not ready at our arrival had to wait ... we where told that they will keep us inform but after 45 minutes waiting ... I just get by the front desk to ask if our room was ready and they say to me that our room was ready about 30 minutes ago !!!! Good breakfast selection but again be prepared to extend money for worker who are asking for tips ! A first! We where asking by an hotel employee ... when are you planning to leave the hotel ? (even if it was only 8h30 in the morning ). Bed are terrible ! Sorry but I am not the kind to write bad review but I thing this hotel as been overestimate!

The hotel staff was very nice and the free breakfast buffet was in a nice little restaurant with good food. On site parking was also a nice plus in such a busy city. The lobby and hallways looked very extravagant but the room itself did not. The room had large windows with a beautiful view but besides that nothing about the room was spectacular. Everything in the room looked worn and outdated from the lighting to the table (which was ruined with scratches). Even the lamp shades had tears and rips. The couch looked older than me and the tv was so small. The lighting was also terrible so you couldn't even get an accurate view of what you looked like in the mirror before you went out if you wanted to. In addition to all this, we were given "a free upgrade" and really excited about it until we realized we were actually just "upgraded" to a smoking room without our consent. The room smelled TERRIBLE, made us smell like smoke everywhere went, and really ruined the experience. Been to much better hotels for less money.

Few blocks from Yonge-Dundas, very convenient to transit: major streetcar line goes right to subway and Chinatown. Hotel staff great, very good breakfast, nice amenities. Definitely go to the rooftop after dark. Get a week TTC pass, explore the city, and come back to comfort: you may have to move the sofa for better tv watching.

Near multiple attractions in Toronto. Clean, safe area. Excellent breakfast

DURING MY STAY I AM ENJOY BREAKFAST AMENITIES CUSTOMER SERVICE THE BEST VERY HELPFUL LOCATED DOWNTOWN WITH ACCESS TO MALL RESTAURANTS , ROOM COMFORTABLE CLEAN ASSESS TO SAUNA AT TOP OF HOTEL OHHHH I ENJOY

Only there two days/nights. Room clean and roomy with plenty of closet space. Good buffet breakfast. Didn't like stairs getting up to hotel.

The view of the city from our room was fantastic, especially at night. Breakfast was always excellent and we had our choice of eating inside the restaurant or an outside patio.

We had a wonderful stay. Everyone was very helpful there. The beds were comfortable, the views of Toronto from our window were gorgeous. The hot tubs on the roof (with views of the city all around) was a highlight. Breakfast got monotonous after a while, but was fine. About a half-mile walk to nearest subway stop but there is a free shuttle service during the day to local sites, which helps. Appreciated the microwave, mini-fridge, dishes, etc.
