Holiday Inn Toronto Yorkdale

Relaxing and comfortable accommodations. Parking not the greatest. Had problems getting in and out of the parking lot. Hotel was old, but seemed clean and well taken care of. The first room they gave us had a bag of garbage in front of the door which we had to move. When we opened the door, the maid met us and said the roon was not ready yet and we would have to go back to the desk and get another room. Wasn't too happy about that.

Rooms and hall are dated, they charge you to park which was a major turn off

Parking is not the greatest. You have to enter through a car dealership and then exit by going around the back of the hotel.

Just ok, the entrance to the hotel by car is a mess.

Stayed at this hotel for a weekend getaway with family. Location was great, right across from Yorkdale Shopping Center, short walk to the Subway through the shopping center to access the TTC Line 1 with easy access to downtown attractions, and convenient to HWY 401 for short drive to the Toronto Zoo and Pearson Airport. Hotel was clean, comfortable, and provided great value. They have a pool/hot tub/sauna onsite, as well as, ping pong, billiards, and small indoor tennis net (play with nerf balls) The onsite restaurant/bar was excellent - we ate there several times (not breakfast) and all the food was very well prepared and decently priced for Toronto. Would definitely stay here again next time through Toronto!

excellent value. we chose location because of its proximity to wedding hall we had to attend.

It is comfortable and convenient. The renown Yorkdale Mall is within walking distance.

Clean and friendly staff! Great Room Service! Good breakfast!

The staff were so helpful and friendly offering us advice on how to get to various locations. They always smiled and had kids engaged in conversations.

Everything was wonderful at this hotel. The staff was amazingly helpful, courteous and concerned for our comfort. The only complaint is that the a/c was a little meager. Everything else was great.

This is the second time we've stayed at this hotel which we chose for its proximity to family. This last stay, in June 2014, was significantly worse than the first stay. The parking card did not work, the pay-per-view did not work, the room key suddenly stopped working and we were locked out of our room, both elevators were being serviced and we waited 10 minutes before using the house phone to call for help. The staff said to use the service elevator which needed special instructions on how to use. We complained to the manager and she comped our parking ($10 a day, they don't tell you that up front# and a breakfast. The breakfast buffet is great #fruit and fish etc.# but the "hot" food was cold #especially the bacon and eggs) and that was as soon as it was set out. The coffee was not ready when the buffet opened. I get home and find there is an unauthorized charge on my credit card which I am told is "normal" and will be reversed in 5 days! That's new I think. "Just in case" we spent something which we did not; Our bill showed no charges due. The super-size pillows were hard to sleep on and gave us neck aches. All in all, it was the little things that made this stay so unpleasant...

This hotel is ok. However there are are better bargains with free parking and breakfast not that far away It was a convenient location for my business. York dale shopping centre is not that special to stay here.

My stay at the Holiday Inn Yorkdale was excellent! However, I did not appreciate the customer service I received from one of the front desk agents, but another front desk agent was very friendly and offered assistance, which made my stay more pleasurable. Other than that, the rest of the staff was friendly and the rooms were clean. I will be staying there again when I go back to visit in less than a year.

We stayed at this hotel for a friends wedding. I was very happy that there was a coffee bar in the hotel. When we stayed at a more expensive hotel we had to go around the corner to get our coffee. I really liked the pool area too, very nice.

Was great location. Older holiday inn in good shape. Old furniture and styling in the rooms and lobby/ Expense breakfast. 10 min to air[port and across the street from major mall.

Wish I'd have known there was a pool and hot tUb before I packed!

Had a nice experience on a 2 nights trip. everything was nice. Pool, hottub.. great. The only disapointment was breackfast buffet. Not good at all..

This was my first time in toronto, very cold but i am from new york so i'm use to the cold. I would say the hotel was in a very good location close to all shopping and food loved it. The room was very comfortable and clean.I will really stay here again.

Everything was most acceptable. Beds were firm and pillows soft. Rooms were cleaned every day to high standards.

Located just minutes from Toronto subway line. Clean rtooms, polite staff. Breakfast buffet is a bit expensive.
