In this part of Haiti there are not many choices for Hotels. We took a gamble and picked this Hotel. As an American who travels often, at first glance this is not a Hilton, but considering where the hotel is located, its pretty nice. We had hot water showers, backup power, AC, room service, super clean pool, clean towels, 24 hour armed security, a free hot breakfast (in the room) and everything is spacious. Again once you get situated you'll find it safe, clean, and the help is more friendly than anyplace I have stayed. Some of the staff spoke English so that was helpful. We rented a king suit with a front room and 2 bedrooms. we stayed for several days, with no complaints. I brought a bug net but didn't really need it there. Lastly the food was great, hot, fresh, and no one had any problems with bacteria. You will need to purchase bottled water. We are planning on going back next year with a much larger team and we plan on booking several rooms.
