Great place to stay near KU

This was our second stay at this property. Both times went well! We appreciate a pet friendly place that stills remains cleanly and put together. The staff is always friendly and helpful, when needed. Their included breakfast is nice and the 24/7 coffee and tea is a great amenity. Our only disappoint this stay was the entire 2 days, there was no wifi. When we first inquired, they thought maybe internet was down in the area. Friends that live less than 10 minutes away had no issues with wifi. Not that there still couldn’t be a local error, but was some what disappointed there wasn’t any communication to guests about the lack of wifi for an extended period. Luckily we didn’t have work to do, but would have needed to make further accommodations if so.

Had a reservation, showed up after driving 10 hours to "sorry we overbooked there are no rooms". was told that there was an available room at another hilton hotel down the street but i would have to pay an additional $100 (as it was a better rated hotel). Worst customer service ever and i will never stay at a hilton again.

Great hotel, not so great breakfast

The hotel is great, rooms are nice and clean. The lobby is great with a pool table and couches. The one negative thing is the breakfast- it is terrible. The eggs and sausage looked awful and the selection of bagels, muffins etc. was not great. If they could improve the breakfast options, this would be a fantastic place to stay.
