The air conditioner was noisy and blew right on the bed, which made for a rough night of sleep. They forgot to put shampoo in the room, so I had to run across to the office to get some.

The key cards didn't work well, was locked out of my room because the door wouldn't open and I just got there, so they can't play the excuse that the key card got demagnetized from my doing game. The electrical in the room was iffy, things wouldn't turn on properly, had to jiggle the cords. The how water handle in the shower fell off from the first touch, it wasn't even screwed in. I know there is a shortage of workers during the pandemic but I'd like to take a shower without having to become a handyman first. Lastly, they must use a filter when taking pictures of the food, you know the filter that shows food when there really isn't any, jeez people. Ok, maybe that last one is a little exaggerated, but after all the other annoyances I just wanted some food, in fairness there were two sausages in the metal bin, I can't tell you how they were because I like my sausage fried not boiled and pasty. I hate leaving negative reviews but dang I was disappointed and my family said they didn't trust my judgment in selecting a hotel after this. Thanks for the shame.

Wi-Fi didn’t work during the stay. No frills, budget hotel.

We stayed in the outer building in #417 and were surprised by the state of the bathroom. It had what looked like mold in the corners near the floor, smears of who knows what on the light switch and wall, the shower didn’t drain properly. Also the beds were rock hard and the outside noise came pouring in trough the closed window and door. The staff was very friendly, the pool was fun for the kids, breakfast options were fine. The location can’t be beat. It’s in the same parking lot as chilis and Texas Roadhouse and is right next to the university. Due to the beds and the lack of deep cleaning we wouldn’t stay here again.

The picture is deceiving. It looks like an indoor entrance hotel (which they have), but we were placed in the motel side with outdoor entrances which kept my kids up all night.

Enjoyed our stay, friendly staff and no hassles.

It was ok...pool was not working, initially was put in a room with an outdoor entrance next to someone who lived long term. The room was tiny and smelled. They quickly moved us back inside the main hotel which was better. Breakfast was oatmeal creme pies, devils food cakes, and honey buns...not near what was advertised on the website or interior banners.

Reception clerk. Not friendly. A/c in the room. Not working properly.

Was close to where needed to be for wedding and reception with little extras breakfast pool and hot tub for relaxing. Loved the staff

Near school and campus. Very polite , professional front Staff rep.

This is currently the best value for a hotel room in Lawrence. We stayed at Holiday Inn Express just a mile away previously and this hotel was better for considerably less money. The room was clean, bright, and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent as was the staff preparing it. We'll stay here again!

We came to Lawrence to watch a Jayhawks Basketball game. This hotel is close enough to Allen Fieldhouse that we were able to walk to the game and back. Our room was clean and spacious.

They are remodeling. Our room was clean and quiet. The bed was ok. Had 2 queen special and awesome price. The breakfast was very good and had something for everyone. There are several restaurants located right there. The pool area was inside and looked great. Would stay again.

All hotel personnel were helpful and courteous. The free breakfast is good and adequate. The location of hotel is close to good restaurants withing walking distance and is big plus.
