Everything was wrong in Room 281: 1. Carpet with many dirty spots 2. Pillows were very small like for babies 3. Bedsheets torn and with dirty spots 4. TV with less than 10 channels 5. Door with no safety lock inside 6. Window blind torn 7. Only one towel for the two of us 8. Toilet seat not fixed, but movable 9. No hangers for clothings 10. Called for delivery of more towels, receptionist said none available, but would check because they ran out. No one came or cared to contact us after that. 11. Smelly hall way full of trash and dirty lines on carpet 12. Breakfast ended at 9 am, but was not told. We missed when we got there by 9:03 am. 13. My worst experience, but was forced to stay overnight because we got there between 11:30 and midnight when we were already tired. So, no time to change a hotel. In addition, i paid online, so that gave me no option to go to a different hotel late at night.

It was run down. We took a look at it and we found another place to go . I will never book there again.

Overall worst hotel in 30 years of travel. Computer was down at check in. Dirty carpet in hallway. Staff gave the far most room even many other rooms available. Key can open the four but there are people inside! Many people stand by door but seems like long time residence but no one says ‘hi’ even at eye contact. Feeling weird! It’s like walking in a neighborhood that you know you don’t belong to and want to escape ASAP.

Scoring is generous, you get what you pay for. We arrived after 10pm and planned on the kids being able to swim the next day before checking out. Turns out the pool is closed for cleaning on Sundays because it is their slow day. On top of that, the pool is only open from 3-9pm...so it's unuseable to us anyway. The bathroom is unique: standing shower area like in a high school with a "dip" for the water to styay in (didn't work that way though), with the toilet to the left, so when you shower water is still getting everywhere and clothes get wet when you have to use the toilet. Sink is on the same wall the door is, with a hair dryer next to it. The door to he bathroom didn't close. Either the hinging was off, the door needed to be sanded down, or both. There were no blankets of any kind on the beds. Just a top sheet. The door to the room was difficult to open because it seemed to rub against the frame without that being the problem. Each room (as far as we could tell from looking around) had it's own patio door to the outside. However, on the ground floor had cigarette butts and trash all over the cement slab that connected directly to the parking lot. The breakfast was decent though! However the door to the breakfast room had some juice spilled in front of it the whole time. Also, the worker who checked us in somehow immediately checked us back out, so the housekeeper walked into our room not knowing we were still there the next day. Day desk worker was very nice!

actually didn't get a chance to use room - things came up

The first thing you must keep in mind is that the building this hotel is was built in the 1970s, has been through a number of owners and it show its age. That said the building is in excellent condition for its age. The staff is excellent, They go out of their way to resolve any issues you might have quickly. This is a perfectly reasonable hotel quite close to downtown Toledo without paying exorbitant rates. The only complaint I would make is that the room was never given any cups in the bathroom, which wasn't that big a deal since it gave me an excuse to visit the bar for a bit. (insert smiley face here)

I came in. Laid down. Sleep. And left. More words. More words. More words. A minimum is super annoying and takes away from the service. Who ever reads this should seriously consider changing this function. What if I had nothing to say? Or "had a good time, period"? C'mon people. Let get it together.

Worse hotel I've ever seen. Nothing like the pics. Smelled like puke, room was dirty. We lasted 20 minutes and the lady didn't even ask why when we cancelled. I have never been so worried about bed bugs in my life. DO NOT STAY HERE!

Poor service, peeling paint, holes in walls, run down old looking inside of room. Very disappointed in this hotel. I would not recommend it to anyone. I can't believe this from a day's inn hotel.

The hotel was dirty, run-down, out of date, and smelled like smoke. The pool and hot tub were not working and the restaurant was closed. This was WAY overpriced. I would not return.

Certainly not as clean or well cared for as it should be. It is well located and the staffs is pleasant enough, as well as the attached restaurant, but the issues with the room and building could not be overlooked.

Worse days inn ever. False advertising because the rooms are nothing like the pictures online. Room door was broken and not secure. The shower didn't work, windows are dirty with spider webs, free breakfast a scam, yucky drinks & dried bread. Ambiance was run down like a crack house, pool has green water. Horrible and should be condemn.

This place was awful! Dirty, smelly, a definite local drug motel

This was my third stay in the past year. Hot tub and pool were not open last August. Pool hours are not acceptable, 3:00 in afternoon before you can swim? The hot tub was still closed this year. My wife and I stayed in the same hotel July 25 and 26 of this year. Key card did not work because of the shattered window at side entrance. Room not cleaned Saturday morning actually bathroom floor not cleaned when arrived. We complained upon checking out and were told to call manager in morning. I called Monday and Tuesday and had to leaves messages .No phone calls were returned. Finally sent an e-mail to Days Inn headquarters. Called the hotel again on July 29 with the concerns for reservation for August 15 to 17. Same problems again, with the exception of no clean towels on Saturday morning. They could not give us a credit for the stay because it was pre-paid to you. This is not an acceptable why to run a hotel. Thank You!

Pros: -across the street from the casino -bed was comfortable -room was fairly large -price was reasonable -outside patio for smoking options Cons: -breakfast was subpar with no staff maintaining it -shower was rusty and temperature went up and down -room was very dirty -burn marks all over the room -loud guests next door -chair was broken -door didn't even close all the way Overall, I'd probably stay again because of the price and the location to the casino. However, it was almost impossible to take a shower and the room was fairly gross.

I have stayed at many hotels beings I work on the road and this hotel served its purpose and nothing more.

Room was cheap. Everything was just clean enough. There is a bar next to the lobby with thugs and trashy people. Furniture was in poor condition. Was not a very good place to stay. Shower was awful.
