Stayed here for a full week in late June. Location is super convenient-about 30 foot walk to the Nagaracho metro entrance, making getting anywhere super easy. Staff was amazing and helpful. The rooms are spacious and clean. The only thing preventing a perfect score are the beds, which others have mentioned. I don’t mind a hard bed at all, but these things were like cement. Absolutely zero give. We got sort of used to it by the end, but my back is very unhappy. Other than that, could not recommend more.

The Kitano gets it right.

A very good hotel which is impeccable. The staff were very accommodating. Cleanliness is clearly a priority. As is generally the case in Japan, the beds were very firm.

A hotel like Relaix Chateau should offer some things free of charge along with little treats to delight its guests. Other hotels in Japan had these kinds of details that charmed us.

It was alright

Hotel is okay. Rooms are very large but dated. Layout was a bit strange though - the sink is in the middle of the room, and the toilet appeared to be for persons with special ambulatory needs - there was a plastic chair in the shower area. Perhaps we were just allocated that room because we checked in at 11pm. But it was an odd vibe for a supposedly posh hotel.
